LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities believe rising rapper Pop Smoke was shot and killed during a Los Angeles home-invasion robbery in February after his social media posts led five suspects to the house he was renting. Police arrested the suspects Thursday morning in Los Angeles. Pop Smoke's legal name is Bashar Barakah Jackson. Police had initially discounted a robbery theory in the days after the 20-year-old New York rapper's death Feb. 19 at a home in the Hollywood Hills. Now, authorities say the group likely went to the home because they knew Pop Smoke was there from the social media posts. 604

Logan Stiner was just 18 years old when he died in 2014 — only three days short of graduating from Keystone High School in Lagrange, Ohio. The cause of death: a lethal amount of caffeine in his system.Stiner, who was a wrestler, had taken powdered caffeine often used as a pre-workout boost. The “Desperate Housewives'' actress pleaded guilty in May to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud for paying ,000 to have a proctor correct her daughter's answers on a college-entrance exam. In their sentencing memorandum filed Friday, prosecutors also recommended that the 56-year-old actress, who earned an Oscar nod for ``Transamerica,'' serve one year of supervised release following her stint in federal custody. Prosecutors suggested in May they would seek as much as four months in prison for Huffman. Huffman's attorneys filed court papers asking that the judge sentence the actress to one year of probation and 250 hours of community service. More than two dozen people submitted letters of support to the court, including Huffman's husband William H. Macy and ``Desperate Housewives'' co-star Eva Longoria.But prosecutors wrote that anything less than a jail term would be insufficient, describing Huffman's conduct as ``deliberate and manifestly criminal,'' according to the sentencing memorandum.
