By the end of the first day, 280 cars participated by the close of business.December 4 started with paid forward from the night before, and it went from there. WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Roses are red and Ken Lerman’s suit is too.If you see his bouquets, he has a message for you.The 55-year-old loves to love and he now uses roses to let people know it.There’s some pain behind Lerman’s purpose.His, “Roses for Change,” campaign began this summer after he and people across the country witnessed the fallout following the death of George Floyd while in police custody.“How can one human being do that to another human being, I was crying when I saw it,” says Lerman.Armed with roses and a message of love Lerman says he wanted to reach those most affected.“I gotta give this to all the African Americans, they’re hurting,” he tells WPTV.His message has since caught on both online and in Palm Beach County where he regularly shares love and roses to people of all colors. It was time to leave Brooklyn.“It’s a wonderful place, that said it’s an urban metropolis and we are people who love to be outside and Idaho is a different type of location that offers various outdoor activities that are important to us,” Wells said.So, they left. After all, all they really need is an internet connection.“The traditional work day has totally changed with our present situation and it’s taken some time to get used to it,” Wells said. “The ability to work remote and see new parts of the country and it makes you happier and ultimately a more productive employee.”Now, they fish, horseback ride, explore and hike. They've even taken up archery.“We’ve hiked in the Tetons, we’ve horseback with a number of outfitters, we’ve taken day trips to other cities like Ashton in St. Anthony.
