Actress Sienna Miller says that her co-star in "21 Bridges," Chadwick Boseman, relinquished part of his salary to help cover their compensation disparity.Miller's revelation comes in the newest edition of Empire magazine, which pays tribute to the actor who died earlier this month amid a secret fight with colon cancer at the age of 43.Miller says that Boseman approached her about starring the 2019 police thriller, but the opportunity came after months of "working non-stop." Even though she wanted to work with Boseman, she said she was "hesitant to go back to work" because "her daughter was going back to school and it was an inconvenient time."As a result, Miller told the studio producing "21 Bridges" that she would only star in the film if she was compensated "the right way," even though she was asking for a figure that the studio would not pay her. However, Boseman — who was a producer on the film — said he would donate a portion of his salary to help Miller get the compensation she needed.“It was about the most astounding thing that I've experienced,” Miller told Empire. “That kind of thing just doesn't happen. He said, ‘You're getting paid what you deserve, and what you're worth.’ It's just unfathomable to imagine another man in that town behaving that graciously or respectfully. In the aftermath of this I've told other male actor friends of mine that story and they all go very very quiet and go home and probably have to sit and think about things for a while. But there was no showiness, it was, ‘Of course I'll get you to that number, because that's what you should be paid.’”For years, actresses have spoken publicly about the pay discrepancy between men and women in Hollywood. In 2018, producers from the Netflix series "The Crown" told reporters that star Claire Foy made less for portraying Queen Elizabeth than her co-star, Matt Smith, who portrayed Prince Phillip. 1907

ALABASTER, Ala. — A photographer in Alabama was able to capture the beauty of a rare yellow cardinal that is taking the internet by storm. Jeremy Black took the photograph of the rare yellow bird in Alabaster, Alabama.According to Geoffrey Hill, a bird curator at Auburn University in Alabama, the bird is a rare male northern cardinal that has a "one in a million" genetic mutation that makes its red feathers turn yellow. Additionally, the mutation is so rare, that only one is seen each year in the United States."This yellow cardinal displays a rare mutation causes the metabolic process to produce a different type of pigment than the typical red coloration," Black wrote on his Facebook page.Black says that he was able to photograph the yellow cardinal after his friend, Charlie Stephenson, noticed the bird at her feeder in January. According to National Geographic, on February 17, Black spent five hours in Stephenson's backyard with a camera in hand, hoping the beautiful bird would make a second appearance. "As soon as it landed, I was starstruck," Black told National Geographic. "It kind of took my breath away a little bit."Black's next goal is to capture a picture of a yellow cardinal and a red cardinal sitting on a branch together.Mary Stringini is a Digital Reporter for ABC Action News. Allergan has recalled almost 170,000 sample packs of birth control pills because of a packaging error that could put consumers at risk for unintended pregnancy.According to the recall, four placebo capsules were placed out of order in a sample pack of Taytulla and the first four days of therapy had four non-hormonal placebo capsules instead of active capsules."As a result of this packaging error, oral contraceptive capsules, that are taken out of sequence, may place the user at risk for contraceptive failure and unintended pregnancy," The recall states. "The reversing of the order may not be apparent to either new users or previous users of the product, increasing the likelihood of taking the capsules out of order."Allergan says they are notifying customers by recall letter and is arranging for return of all recalled sample pack product with the lot #5620706 Exp. May 2019. Consumers who have the sample pack product with the associated lot number should notify their physician to arrange a return.   Consumers with questions regarding this recall can contact Allergan by phone at 800-678-1605 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.
