DEL MAR, Calif. (KGTV) - The timeline to reopen Jimmy Durante Boulevard in Del Mar has been pushed back to June 4 at the earliest. At Monday’s City Council meeting, city officials said they planned to meet with San Diego County Fair officials on Tuesday. They will discuss a traffic plan as Jimmy Durante Boulevard is a main artery into the fairgrounds. The fair opens May 31 before the road is expected to reopen. The northbound lanes of Jimmy Durante Boulevard, north of Luzon Avenue, closed in late April following a bluff collapse. Del Mar city leaders were hoping to get it reopened by Memorial Day, but a series of complications pushed the timeline back. The schedule could get further delayed due to weather and the Memorial Day holiday. The cost of cleanup and stabilizing the cliff is expected to cost close to million. The city council voted to declare a local emergency which would allow the city to qualify for federal emergency funds to supplement the cost. The company sent a letter to Posare salon, threatening to sue the owner if she didn't silence Toni or fire her.  As for consumers, Grabowski says, "Everyone is entitled to their opinion. By the way, there is not a constitutional right to complain about a company. A company has a right to respond any way it wants to." The Federal Trade Commission's Consumer Review Fairness Act "Protects consumers' ability to share their honest opinions about a business' products, services or conduct in any forum, including social media."  But that's not enough. This request for a restraining order against Monat was filed March 7 in South Florida, asking a court to protect consumers against Monat's "Threats, harassment and intimidation."Monat says one stylist has agreed to pay them to settle its claims against her.  Miller is still fighting.  Monat sent this statement for consumers: "If a consumer feels that he or she is having a negative reaction to MONAT products, we encourage them to speak with their Market Partner to obtain an intake form. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Homeowners with rooftop solar arrays and consumer advocates are pushing back against a proposal by San Diego Gas and Electric to nearly quadruple the bill on customers who use very little energy from the grid.SDG&E is asking the Public Utilities Commission to raise the bare minimum bill from to a month, saying the change is needed to accurately reflect the fixed costs of keeping low-usage customers connected to the grid. The move would affect any customer whose bill is below a month, regardless of whether the customer has solar panels.The move to change the minimum bill is part of a broader rate design proposal that would add a fixed charge to all residential customers whose bills exceed the minimum charge.SDG&E spokesman Wes Jones says by raising the minimum cost "floor" that customers pay, the utility can lower the "ceiling" on bills overall. He said the new structure is projected to lower energy rates in the long run, saving 64 percent of customers an average of a month. The other 36 percent of customers would see bills go up by an average of a month as a result of the change.But green energy advocates argue the change will punish solar customers and others who use the least electricity. About 18 percent of SDG&E customers would be affected by the higher minimum bill.Adam Rizzo of Palomar Solar said the prospect of higher costs for solar users might discourage some people from installing panels, even though the charges could still be reduced or denied by regulators."People hear snippets.
