WELLINGTON, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- China and New Zealand have decided to lift their relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership, said a joint statement Thursday.

Two-way trade surpassed 270 billion U.S. dollars in 2013, nearly 50 times the volume in 1992, making the ROK China's sixth-largest trade partner and third-largest source of imports.

Nguyen Tan Dung, for his part, said Vietnam expects joint efforts with China to properly settle maritime disputes in a candid and friendly spirit, and especially promote substantial progress in their negotiations regarding the maritime demarcation of the bay mouth of Beibu Gulf.

He said the two sides should further strengthen cooperation in areas including trade, investment, manufacturing, environmental protection, tourism and sports, so as to promote a stable and sound development of bilateral ties.

Li called on all countries to share their experiences in reform and innovation, so as to realize a more inclusive development and the all-win situation.
