SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A woman who pointed what turned out to be a pellet gun at two San Diego police officers who followed her into a downtown parking structure during the Rock-N-Roll marathon is scheduled to be sentenced Friday.Mona Elease Williams, 59, pleaded guilty in September to a pair of felony counts of resisting an executive officer by threat or violence. SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Murder and other felony charges were filed Wednesday against a 20-year-old probationer who allegedly fired a gunshot toward his brother, missing him but inadvertently killing a next-door neighbor asleep in his bed.Manuula Save is accused in the Saturday morning death of Michael Walker, 38, who was shot about 1:45 a.m. by a bullet that traveled through a bedroom wall in the defendant's apartment and into the victim's unit in the 13400 block of Midland Road. Walker was hit once in the abdomen and died at a hospital about an hour later.Save faces life imprisonment if convicted of murder, shooting into an inhabited dwelling, assault with a semi-automatic firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm.RELATED: Man killed by stray bullet in Poway apartment complex, suspect arrestedDeputy District Attorney Kristie Nikoletich said the shooting stemmed from a verbal argument and physical fight between Save and his older brother. SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A Rancho Pe?asquitos elementary school was placed on a brief lockdown Tuesday morning as officers searched the area for a suspect wanted on an unspecified felony warrant. Rolling Hills Elementary School, on Pe?asquitos Drive west of Interstate 15, was placed on lockdown around 9 a.m. as police searched for the suspect along Avenida Montuosa, a street off Del Diablo Way just south of the school, according to San Diego police. Around 10 a.m., police called off the search and the lockdown was lifted, SDPD public-affairs officer Billy Hernandez said. Police did not specify the type of felony warrant or release a description of the suspect. 669

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Masked intruders threatened a couple with guns and slashed the male victim with a knife today during a daybreak residential robbery in a Corridor-area neighborhood.The 27-year-old man and 20-year-old woman awoke at their residence in the 3200 block of Bramson Place about 6:30 a.m. to find the thieves next to their bed, pointing guns at them and demanding valuables, according to San Diego police. One of the intruders held a knife to the man's throat, Officer Robert Heims said.During the robbery, the male victim suffered several cuts, Heims said.Details on the severity of the wounds were not released.The thieves stole an unknown amount and type of items from the couple before fleeing, according to police. 738

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Authorities Wednesday released the name of a 19-year-old man killed last week in a shooting at Linda Vista Recreation Center.Nam Nguyen of San Diego was shot by an unidentified assailant about 4:45 p.m. Friday during a fight between two groups of young men near a basketball court at the city recreation facility in the 7000 block of Levant Street, according to police.Paramedics took Nguyen to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Lt.
