A hacker who claims to have gotten access to President Donald Trump’s personal Twitter account by guessing his password will not face charges, according to reports, because the man acted “ethically” following getting access.Dutch prosecutors say Victor Gevers did get access to the @realDonaldTrump Twitter account by guessing “MAGA2020!” as the password in late October of this year, saying that Gevers shared screenshots from inside the account, according to the BBC.At the time, the White House and Twitter denied it had been hacked.Gevers, a cyber-security researcher, said he was doing a semi-regular sweep of Twitter accounts associated with the U.S. election when he correctly guessed Trump’s password.Investigators in the Netherlands said Gevers was investigating the strength of the password based on “major interests involved if this Twitter account could be taken over so shortly before the presidential election.”“We believe the hacker has actually penetrated Trump’s Twitter account, but has met the criteria that have been developed in case law to go free as an ethical hacker,” reads a statement from the public prosecutor’s office, the Guardian reported.Investigators say Gevers met the standard for “responsible disclosure.”He has publicly shared how he guessed the password, and tweeted October 22, following the alleged hack, a warning possibly aimed at the president urging people to use two-factor authentication. A husband and wife were found dead in Wisconsin Monday morning, and now a search is on for their missing 13-year-old daughter. The parents' bodies were found inside a Barron County, Wisc. after someone called 911 for help before 1 a.m.Deputies said they didn't find any weapons inside. Deputies said the teen, identified as 13-year-old Jayme Closs, could be in danger. No suspects have been named yet, and the FBI is involved in the investigation. An Amber Alert was issued in hopes of finding Closs. The 13-year-old may have been spotted in Miami, police tweeted late Monday night.  621

A Brownsville, Texas man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison after stealing and reselling .2 million in fajitas from a juvenile detention center over the span of nine years.Gilberto Escamilla had previously pleaded guilty to felony theft charges.Escamilla was caught last summer after he took a day off work from the Darrel B. Hester Juvenile Detention Center for a doctor's appointment. A driver called the kitchen at the juvenile center saying they had 800 pounds of fajitas to drop off.The center did not serve fajitas, but the driver said he had been delivering the meat to the center for nine years.After the driver spilled the beans, investigators found packages of fajitas in Escamilla's fridge where he reportedly sold the meat to separate buyers.Escamilla was fired from his job in August.The-CNN-Wire 865

A man in Haines City, Florida, was arrested Saturday after allegedly stealing a piece of construction equipment and taking Joe Biden campaign signs out of the yards in a local neighborhood, according to NBC News, The Associated Press and The Washington Post.James Blight, 26, was arrested Saturday and charged with grand theft auto and trespassing.Blight allegedly stole the backhoe from a nearby construction site and then tore through a nearby neighbor, driving through lawns and flattening Biden-Harris signs in the process. He also allegedly stole the signs from some residents' yards.NBC News reports that during the joyride, Blight allegedly knocked down a speed limit sign.Blight told police that he "had been drinking whiskey all day and did not remember most of the day," Haines City public information officer Mike Haines told NBC News. "He said that he couldn't help but hit the Joe Biden signs and acknowledged to taking down a fence in the process."According to The Associated Press, the city's former vice mayor, Adam Burgess, lives in the neighborhood, which is predominantly Black.
