Vice President Mike Pence said Wednesday that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will be issuing new guidance on how schools can safely reopen in the fall.Pence's comments come hours after President Donald Trump tweeted that the current CDC guidance was "very tough & very expensive," adding that the agency was asking districts to do things that were "impractical."At the briefing, CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield was asked if the agency was changing its guidelines because of the President's concerns.“We will continue to develop and evolve our guidance to meet the needs of schools and the states that we continue to provide that assistance to,” Redfield said.Watch the briefing in the video below.Pence also said that the administration hoped to add funding incentives for states that reopen their schools in the next round of stimulus legislation.Pence added that he felt children should return to school in the fall not only so they wouldn't fall behind academically, but because it would promote students' "mental health, well-being, physical health and nutrition. Later that day she received a string of obscene text messages.The texts called Watts vulgar names and mentioned her late bill not once but twice.She called the mortgage company and they denied any wrongdoing on behalf of their employee.Attorney Billy Howard has filed a harassment suit on Watt’s behalf against the lender based on Florida and federal law that makes it illegal for a debt collector to harass a borrower on their cell phone.Next Howard plans to subpoena phone records to determine if the texts may have come from a company phone or an employee's phone.Watts says she decided to take legal action to teach the texter a lesson and hopefully collect a few thousand dollars. U.K. police have appealed for witnesses after a passenger on a European airline made racist remarks about another passenger that were caught on video.The man had threatened to "push" an elderly black woman onto another seat.A crew member of the Ryanair flight from Barcelona, Spain, to London intervened, but the flight took off on Friday with at least one passenger wanting the unidentified man who made the remarks to be booted off the flight.In the footage, a man in a window seat was heard saying he refused to sit next to an elderly woman seated in an aisle seat. The man hurled insults at the woman and called her an "ugly black bastard" before the flight took off, according to a cell phone video recorded by London-based musician David Lawrence.Lawrence posted the footage on social media on Friday."This incident, which we were made aware of yesterday morning, is believed to have taken place on a plane at Barcelona Airport," said the police force in charge of the region round London Stansted airport, where the flight landed."Essex Police takes prejudice-based crime seriously and we want all incidents to be reported. (KGTV) - The Santee School District recently sent robocalls to parents with children at Cajon Park Elementary, alerting them to a possible child luring incident.A mother from the school detailed an incident on her Facebook page, reporting her 11-year-old son was approached by a couple at Woodglen Vista Park asking him to help catch their dogs.The woman then asked the boy to go to the dog park with them. The boy ran home and told his mother.The woman was described as in her 40s with blonde hair. The man is described as 60 years old with gray hair.The San Diego Sheriff's Department has not received any reports on the mother's post.Cajon Park Elementary officials told 10News they plan to follow up with the Sheriff's Department Wednesday morning. 840
