Tesla on Thursday recalled about 123,000 Model S sedans, asking customers with cars built before April of 2016 to have their power steering bolts replaced.A Tesla spokesperson said the company has observed "excessive corrosion" of the part in some cold climates where a certain type of road salt is used.No injuries or accidents have been reported in connection with the issue, the spokesperson said.A Tesla spokesperson said that if the bolts fail, the driver should still be able to control the vehicle. The issue can make the car more difficult to steer at low speeds and to parallel park, and it should "not materially affect control at high speed."The company sent out emails to Model S owners who have cars included in the recall. The Model S has been lauded for its safety ratings, but news of this recall comes at a rough time for Tesla. Its stock price has plunged more than 25% over the past month. Investors are worried about the startup's ability to deliver on its first mass-market car, the Model 3, which has been plagued by manufacturing woes.Tesla's stock sank nearly 4% during after-hours trading Thursday after news broke about the Model S recall.The-CNN-Wire 1183

The Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) has confirmed that a soldier who was wanted in connection with the disappearance with Pfc. Vanessa Guillen shot and killed himself during an interaction with police Wednesday morning. In their statement, CID also confirmed that a civilian suspect had been taken into custody by the Texas Rangers in connection with Guillen's disappearance. The civilian, an estranged wife of a former Fort Hood soldier, is currently being held in the Bell County jail. The Army did not identify either suspect in their statement. The announcement came as Guillen's family delivered a powerful press conference in Washington, calling on Congress to investigate her disappearance and sexual harassment in the military.During that press conference, the family said they believe that remains that were found in Texas on Tuesday were Guillen's.Family members also said her superior officers sexually harassed Guillen before her disappearance. They said that before her disappearance, Guillen told family members and other soldiers that she was being harassed by her superiors. However, she did not report the abuse to her superior officers because she feared retribution.Guillen's sister gave an impassioned speech in which she accused Army officials of "lying to her face" throughout the investigation into Guillen's disappearance.Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, appeared at the press conference along with the family and echoed calls for a Congressional investigation."We need to know why she did not get the help when she needed it," Gabbard said.Guillen, 20, was last seen around 11:30 am in the Regimental Engineer Squadron Headquarters' parking lot at Fort Hood on April 22.It wasn't until late June that the Army said it suspected foul play in connection with Guillen's death. CID now says it is investigating claims that Guillen was sexually harassed prior to her disappearance.According to a statement from the Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID), partial human remains were found during a search of an area of interest close to the Leon River in Bell County on Tuesday. CID has not yet confirmed the identity of the remains. 2169

Stocks are tanking, and the tech world's richest executives are losing billions.Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Google are getting hammered as investors sell their shares and retreat into safer territory. The founders, CEOs and top investors in those companies are losing money quickly.Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has lost roughly billion since his net worth and peaked in early September at 8 billion, according to?the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Amazon's stock (AMZN) has dropped more than 25% since then and is currently trading around ,500 a share, leaving Bezos with a 6 billion nest egg. It's not all bad news for him: Bezos is still the world's richest person. On Tuesday, Bezos and wife MacKenzie donated 0 million to two non profits that aim to end homelessness in America. It's part of the pair's pledge to donate? billion to fund existing nonprofits that help homeless families and to create a network of preschools in low-income communities.Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's wealth is also taking a beating. Tax benefits, hassle-free saving and a possible 100% match on money invested: Workers are saying no, no and no to these things when they ignore their company’s 401(k) retirement plan. These days it takes a pretty strong will — or a really good excuse — not to fall for the 401(k) pitch. And as employer-sponsored retirement plans have improved, these common reasons for skipping the workplace savings plans have gotten weaker. 433

Taylor Swift was once the sweetheart of Nashville and a frequent attendee of the CMA Awards. She racked up 11 wins and 26 nominations before crossing over to becoming a global pop star. Since that time she has moved away from her country roots. In fact, she has not seen a CMA nominee since 2014 when she was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year. She is back on the CMA ballot this year not as a performer but as a songwriter. She wrote Little Big Town's chart-climber "Better Man", which is up for Single of the Year, Song of the Year and featured on a nomination for Album of the Year.Little Big Town is also nominated for Vocal Group of the Year. The Song of the Year nomination is what has Music Row talking about whether they will see Swift at this year's award show. That particular award is given to the writer of the song, not the performer. That means if the song is a winner tonight at Bridgestone Arena it would make sense to see Swift on stage to accept the award. Her last appearance at the show was just a year ago for the 50th anniversary when she presented Garth Brooks with the award for Entertainer of the Year.?Swift is in the middle of a busy week. In the past 24 hours she released the full track list for her upcoming album and also shared videos from a private listening party she had for lucky listeners at home.Swift's new album, "Reputation" drops Friday. To find out if she will make an appearance at the 51st Annual CMA Awards, tune in tonight at 7p.m. (CT) on ABC.  1518
