KGTV - A video appearing to show the arrest of an undocumented immigrant is making rounds on the internet.The incident was livestreamed on Facebook by Ryan McAdams, who says he was out with Watkins Bail Bonds on Sunday when they were called to collect a client they had bonded out for a crime.“A relative of the individual in the video called the bond office that the individual didn’t have his papers in order and he was looking to abscond,” said McAdams “and go back south over the border.”McAdams adds that what he recorded and posted to Facebook is a legit operation.However, some like Chicano activist Alexis Del Castillo says the video is tasteless and shows the exploitation of an immigrant.“He didn’t just bully him he like tormented him in front of everyone,” said Del Castillo, “I think it takes someone really despicable to do that sort of thing.”McAdams says he knows some people see it a certain way, but he just wants people to understand the reality others have to deal with.“He was in there for a DUI arrest and he was going to flee on that leaving a company ,000 dollars behind,” said McAdams, “Everyone is held up to the same laws.”  1191

Joe Biden told supporters on Thursday at a virtual fundraiser that he plans to resume holding in-person campaign events following Labor Day, depending on state regulations.Biden has largely not been seen on the campaign trail since the pandemic took hold of America in March.Biden told supporters he plans to target Wisconsin, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Arizona; three states that were lost by Democrats in 2016, and Minnesota, which has been a target of the Trump campaign.“Here’s the deal. LA JOLLA, Calif. (KGTV) -- A San Diego couple who met at a Japanese internment camp during World War II, has died this month. The wife succumbed to effects from the coronavirus.To Garrett Yamada, Elizabeth and Joseph were just mom and dad. "My dad loved fish 'n chips and spam, and my mom was into sushi and fine dining," Yamada laughed. But on May 11, Joseph Yamada died after a long battle with dementia. Nine days later, COVID-19 took Elizabeth. They were both 90 years old. "I miss them, but I'm proud of the life they lived," Yamada said. Through struggle and strife, the Yamadas became a prominent San Diego couple. Joseph was a world-renowned landscape architect whose projects included designs for Sea World, UC San Diego, and the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center. Elizabeth was an English teacher who later became a partner at her husband's firm. "They were a wonderful team together," Yamada said.But their love story began behind bars at Poston Japanese Internment Camp in Arizona. Last May, Elizabeth Kikuchi-Yamada shared her story with 10News about her move to the camp as a 12-year-old girl. During her time there, she wrote letters to respected San Diego city librarian, Clara Breed.Breed fought racial injustice by sending books, trinkets, and hope to children locked up in camp. "Clara cared about helping young people know that there was freedom beyond imprisonment. Freedom of the mind to grow. Freedom of the heart to deepen," Elizabeth Yamada said in 2019. It was a story she shared for decades until the virus suddenly took over. "The tragedy with COVID is it separates you physically," her son said. "But her mind was sharp until the very end."The Yamada's were born two days apart in 1930 and died nine days apart in 2020. They were a loving couple, inseparable, both in life and death. "It was God's timing that they go close together," Garrett Yamada said. Unfortunately, the Yamada family says they will not have a service due to COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings. 2006

KANSAS CITY, Kansas — A second company associated with Schlitterbahn has been named in a newly unsealed criminal indictment.Henry & Sons Construction is listed as a co-defendant in the murder case of 10 year old Caleb Schwab.The boy died on the Verruckt water slide in 2016.According to the indictment, Henry & Sons was the design and construction company for Verruckt.Reviews posted online by people who identify themselves as former employees raise safety concerns before the Schwab tragedy. On the job website Indeed.com, a person who identifies himself as a former welder for Henry & Sons submitted a February 2015 review for the company.The review claims management would ignore issues or "let them pass" like damaged work equipment.The welder also says managers wouldn't require a safety harness to work six feet off the ground and they "just wanted to get the job done no matter how risky it could be."Other review headlines include "Unsafe Working Environment", "Lack of Management Skills" and "Unorganized."At least one poster, however, gave the company five stars, calling it "an amazing place to work." The latest indictment states company owner Jeff Henry hired a man named John Hunsucker as a consultant for the operation and safety of Verruckt.But Hunsucker told investigators that while he could make suggestions, it was only Henry who made the decisions.The indictment further says Henry never asked Hunsucker to check if the water slide met industry safety standards, which the indictment claims in many ways it did not. 1587
