Her 19-year-old son, Titan Mellor, was in the ER and hurt badly."My heart dropped ... just a hopeless feeling," said Swift-Farrow.She believes around 2 p.m., her son, a Grossmont College student, was headed to the Family Health Centers clinic in the East Village, applying for some sort of state assistance, when it happened. Swift-Farrow learned details from the paramedics' report."He was attacked from behind by a group of people, hit in the back of the head with a glass bottle. He fell to the ground, was repeatedly punched, and lost consciousness. Then he was kicked in the face for an unknown duration of time," said Swift-Farrow.Swift-Farrow says the attackers took his keys, phone, and wallet, charging thousands of dollars in purchases on his credit cards during the next few days. As for Mellor, he suffered a concussion and a host of severe injuries."Multiple fractures in his eye socket, his nose, above the mouth, behind his ear and in the back of his head," said Swift-Farrow.She says his road to recovery won't be an easy one. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — An autopsy report released on Trevor Heitmann, the teenager known as "McSkillet" on YouTube, is revealing details about what happened before he crashed his vehicle on Interstate 805.The report says Heitmann’s parents called the police to request a psychiatric evaluation stating, “On August 23, the decedent's parents contacted the local police department to request a psychiatric evaluation but were informed that the evaluation could not be performed as the decedent had not broken any laws."The statement means hours before Trevor Heitmann drove his car down the freeway killing two people, police were at his house.RELATED: Autopsy details mental state of McSkillet before deadly I-805 crash"Even though police are trained to identify mental health issues and mental illness issues they just can't take someone off the streets unless there is such conduct to warrant it,” said attorney Kenneth Rosenfeld.Rosenfeld, who has no connection to this case, explained law enforcement does have the ability to detain someone using the 51-50 law. The pursuit began just after midnight Tuesday when officers attempted to stop a motorist driving a dark-colored F-150 truck for a speeding and failing to signal a turn on Coast Highway turning onto Monterey Dr. When officers got to the door of the truck, the suspect took off on Carmelo Drive near Harbor Drive in Oceanside. The suspect's wife tells 10News Christian Zurita is the man who led police on the chase. Zurita was reported traveling at speeds of up to 100 mph, and sometimes driving the wrong way on the freeway, police said.About 10 minutes into the chase, the truck entered the northbound lanes in the wrong direction near the Las Flores bridge trying to evade police. NEWS HEADLINES: Preliminary hearing begins for LJCD teacher accused of sex with 17-year-old Oceanside Police Department officers did not pursue the truck because it was going the wrong way on the highway, traveling southbound in the northbound lanes, according to investigators.
