President Donald Trump delivered remarks from the White House on Thursday, again declaring himself the rightful winner of Tuesday’s election and that the election is being stolen.Currently, Joe Biden is projected to be ahead in the Electoral College vote. Biden is ahead by a 264-213 margin, according to the Associated Press. While the Associated Press called Arizona early Wednesday, some outlets have not called Arizona, which Biden has led narrowly.Trump made a multitude of false statements to sow doubt into the legitimacy of the election.To be clear, Trump still has a narrow path to the presidency, but that path is becoming more narrow by the hour. As Trump spoke, 17,000 votes in Savannah, Georgia, were tabulated cutting Trump’s lead in the state by 6,000. Trump now leads the state by 3,500 votes with 19,000 votes left. Biden has been winning mail-in votes in Georgia by nearly a 2-to-1 margin, which would be enough to give Biden a narrow win in the state.Conversely, Trump won over 62% of the Election Day vote in Georgia. Because those ballots were first to be reported, Trump racked up a sizable lead in Georgia. A similar situation in Pennsylvania took place. In Pennsylvania, Trump won the Election Day vote by a 2-to-1 margin, but trailed the mail-in vote by a 3-to-1 margin. Early on Thursday, Trump tweeted “STOP THE COUNT” as mail-in votes postmarked on or before Election Day are being counted in states such as Pennsylvania and Georgia. These ballots have helped Biden significantly narrow Trump’s lead. (KGTV) -- Poway residents are expressing concern after Stoneridge Country Club closed without notice Wednesday morning.The club closed after voters defeated a measure Tuesday which would have rezoned the property to allow owner Michael Schlesinger to replace part of the club with 180 new condos.One member told 10News "I want the people of Poway to realize that it’s not just about losing golf. It’s about our home values and losing our history that we’ve had here for so long.”Her home sits directly adjacent to the course. She's concerned Schlesinger will stop maintaining the property, turning it into a major fire hazard.Several other residents also expressed worries about vagrants setting up camps on the vacant course and that overgrowth could lead to a spread of coyotes in the area.Those fears are stoked, the residents say, by what has happened at the Escondido Country Club, also owned by Schlesinger.The club has gone to waste in the four years since he made the decision to close it and Poway residents worry they're about to be victims of the same fate.Club members tell 10News there has been no communication from Stoneridge about the closure.Many members paid their 2018 dues in advance and fear Schlesinger will not refund their money.10News contacted a spokesperson for Schlesinger, who replied with a statement:"We are on day 2 of the process of closing a business that has been open for 60 years. PRESCOTT, Ariz. — Human body parts that authorities say may have been intended for medical research were found over the weekend in northern Arizona.According to a statement released Sunday by the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were notified about the remains near Prescott on Saturday and an examination confirmed they were human.A second site with additional body parts was discovered Sunday.The sheriff’s office says it is treating the investigation as a homicide, but the Yavapai County medical examiner says it appears the remains from both sites are from a medical institution and were intended for use in the educational and research field.The sheriff’s office described abandoning remains as a serious crime and said it intends to find “those culpable for such disrespect shown in the cavalier way the remains were discarded.”Sheriff Scott Mascher and Sheriff-Elect David Rhodes issued statements, saying they’ll work together to assure that whatever resources necessary are available to determine those responsible are found and prosecuted.“It is not much that could surprise me anymore, but this news makes me sick, especially for the families of those whose remains were found.
