Forget the shirt and shoes; no service for people on horseback at Starbucks in Anthem, Arizona. A Valley girl is frustrated after trying to ride her horse through the drive-thru when the barista said nay. Aspen Cline had seen internet videos of others riding their horses through the Starbucks drive-thru and decided that's what she wanted to do for her birthday. Instead, she and her horse, Scout, were shut down by the barista who apparently wasn't into horsing around. "We weren't given a reason, just, "we can't take your order," said Aspen. "My friend and I were going to get frappuccinos for us and a cup of whipped cream for the horses." A Starbucks spokesperson told us, officially, their drive-through is for cars only. He said that policy is for animal, rider and employee safety. But, he also added that the horses caught the barista off guard and with a little-advanced notice next time they'll find a way to serve all creatures."We support Starbucks because they're very accepting," said Tandy Cline, Aspen's mom. Federal prosecutors prepared a detailed 80-page indictment against Michael Cohen that outlined President Donald Trump's role in directing payments to women to keep quiet about alleged affairs, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday.The report adds new details to Cohen's comments in court when he pleaded guilty in August, in which he said the payments to the women were coordinated with Trump.Trump was involved in or briefed on nearly every step of the payments that were made to former Playboy model Karen McDougal and adult film actress Stephanie Clifford, who goes by the stage name Stormy Daniels, to keep quiet about their alleged affairs with Trump, the Journal reported, and the US Attorney's office in Manhattan gathered information about Trump's participation.The transactions may have violated campaign finance laws.The 22-page document prosecutors ultimately filed against Cohen alleged that he coordinated with one or more members of the Trump campaign. In court, Cohen admitted that "in coordination and at the direction of a candidate for federal office," he kept information that would have harmed Trump from becoming public during the 2016 election cycle.Prosecutors had prepared a draft indictment of Cohen that was more detailed and included additional charges, people familiar with the investigation have told CNN.The indictment was sent to the Justice Department in anticipation of charging Cohen, a person familiar the matter said. But negotiations between Cohen and prosecutors then began in earnest and they negotiated a plea deal. FREDERICK, Colorado – The bodies of Chris Watts’ two young daughters were found inside oil and gas tanks that “were mostly full,” several high-ranking sources tell Scripps' Denver affiliate KMGH-TV.The high ranking sources said Thursday evening they believe Watts placed the bodies of 4-year-old Bella and 3-year-old Celeste in the oil and gas tanks owned by Anadarko in order to hide the bodies and conceal the smell.Frederick police officials said in a 6:30 p.m. update Thursday that the bodies of the two young girls were found in close proximity to the other body whom officers strongly believe is Shanann Watts. Her body was found on property owned by Anadarko Petroleum earlier Thursday. For the first time, we are all about to experience a holiday season during a pandemic. Industry experts are reporting it will be drastically different this year, especially for holiday shoppers.“The traditional Christmas holiday sale season is pretty chaotic,” said Bill Thorne. “There's not going to be a whole lot of that chaos this year.”Thorne is with the National Retail Federation. He’s has gathered key insight into what the holiday shopping experience will instead be like this year.“It is going to be an entirely different experience,” Thorne reinforced.One of the biggest changes is that many retailers have reevaluated Black Friday traditions, starting with staying open on Thanksgiving Day.“There are a number or brands, large brand that have already announced they are not going to be open on Thanksgiving Day and I believe that is for a number of reasons,” explained Thorne. “Primary among them are to give those associates and employees an opportunity to be at home, be with their family, to celebrate the most important thing that they have, which is each other.”Some of the retailers that have announced they will be closed this Thanksgiving include: Best Buy, Boscov’s, Foot Locker, Home Depot, JCPenney, Macy’s, Target, Walmart, and Costco.Most of those retailers will reopen the day after and some will offer a “Black Friday” sale, but the shopping experience will still be very different.“I don’t believe the vast majority will be opening at excessive early hours,” said Thorne. "I think they are going to greatly discourage people from lining up and if there are lines, they will be socially distanced, you won’t be able to just storm the store.”The number of people allowed in a store will be limited, as many retailers report crowd control will be a huge focus on Black Friday and throughout the holiday shopping season. So much so that companies like Walmart, Target, and Home Depot are trying to reduce the crowds, nearly two months in advance, by offering major Christmas sales this month.“There are several brands that have indicated they are going to do Black Friday sales every Friday until Christmas,” Thorne explained. “You are going to hear retailers reinforcing the deals you would normally get post-Thanksgiving you are going to get starting tomorrow.”The National Retail Federation believes Black Friday sales spread over three months, versus one day, may not only be a safer shopping experience, but it may ensure shoppers actually get the gifts they want before stores potentially and abruptly close again.
