Visitors will be able to enjoy cider or wine, and delicious bratwurst, shortbread, and other treats along the way.Lighting displays will cover themes like Candyland, Winter Wonderland, Home for the Holidays, and more.The Holiday Market and Trail will open on Thursday, Dec. 3, and run through Sunday, Dec. 6, before opening again Dec. 9 through Dec. 23. The market and trail will be open from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Guests will be required to go through a brief health screening before entering and are required to wear face coverings. (KGTV) — The man accused of starting the Holy Fire in Orange County made his first court appearance Friday, though his arraignment was postponed.Forrest Gordon Clark was brought before a judge in Santa Ana, a day after refusing to leave his jail cell to be arraigned. A 55-foot Christmas tree originating from Colorado’s Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests was lit on Wednesday night in front of the US Capitol.The annual ceremony, which typically draws thousands of spectators, was held without a crowd due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Instead, the event was live streamed, and still contained some pomp and circumstance as congressional leaders joined in the annual ceremony.The tree was officially cut on November 5 before making the cross-country trek to Washington, DC.While tonight’s ceremony was held without spectators, those who are in the DC area can view the tree nightly. A Baltimore County, Maryland police officer was killed in the line of duty in Perry Hall, Maryland on Monday. According to Baltimore County Police, around 2 p.m. they received a call for a suspicious vehicle in the unit-block of Linwen Way. Police say the officer responded to the scene when she encountered a suspect or suspects. They say she suffered significant critical injuries and was later transported to Franklin Square Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 2:50 p.m.The officer was a 4-year veteran with the police force and was expecting an anniversary this July.Officials said there were multiple suspects involved but they are actively searching for at least one suspect.During a press conference, Cpl. Shawn Vinson said detectives determined that there was a house on Linwen Way that has damage to a patio door. The damage indicated that it may have been a burglary in progress.Baltimore County Police are searching for an armed suspect and they are expanding the scene. 1120
