For the third time in a month, Twitter has taken action against President Donald Trump.After the social networking site labeled a video tweeted by the president as "manipulated media," the platform removed the video citing "a report by the copyright owner.The 60-second clip showed an edited version of a viral video from 2019 where a Black child and a white child run toward each other to hug. Both children then run away in the same direction.The doctored version of the video tweeted by Trump opens with a fake CNN banner and the portion of the video where the black child appears to be running away from the white child."BREAKING NEWS: TERRIFIED TODDLER RUNS AWAY FROM RACIST BABY," the banner reads.A few seconds later, the doctored video shows the children hugging, without the fake CNN banner.The video closes by claiming that "America is not the problem. FRANKLIN, Indiana — Authorities in Indiana are warning people of a scam involving a person who is claiming to be a sheriff's deputy in order to deceive people into sending money.According to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, a woman came to the Johnson County Jail on Wednesday who said while she was at work she received a call from an individual who claimed to be a sheriff's deputy.The individual told the woman she had a warrant for her arrest due to failure to appear for jury duty selection. The suspect told the woman if she wanted to avoid arrest she needed to pay the fines by purchasing ,000 worth of Apple Store gift cards. The suspect also told the woman she would need to go to the sheriff's office with her receipts to prove her identity.After making the initial purchase in pre-paid gift cards, the suspect informed the woman 0 was not transferred, according to the sheriff's office. The suspect reportedly told the woman to purchase another 0 in pre-paid Apple gift cards. The woman said she was on the phone with the suspect for approximately two hours until all the transactions were made and confirmed. She then drove to the sheriff's office where she was informed she was the victim of a scam.The woman was distraught and told deputies she is recently divorced and the money used from her saving account was being saved for her children's Christmas gifts. 1413

Former "NBC Nightly News" anchor Tom Brokaw was on the defensive on Thursday after Variety Magazine published an interview with a former NBC correspondent claiming Brokaw sexually harassed her. Linda Vester, an NBC reporter for a decade from 1989 to 1999, told Variety that Brokaw physically tried to force her to kiss him and groped her on NBC property. She also claimed that Brokaw showed up to her hotel room uninvited. Variety confirmed that two of Vester's friends were told about Brokaw's alleged behavior around the time of the incidents. In response to the allegations, Brokaw sent a statement through NBC to Variety stating, "I met with Linda Vester on two occasions, both at her request, 23 years ago because she wanted advice with respect to her career at NBC. The meetings were brief, cordial and appropriate, and despite Linda’s allegations, I made no romantic overtures towards her at that time or any other.”There are also no other known claims of sexual harassment against Brokaw. Vester told Variety that recent events at NBC, including revelations of alleged sexual harassment involving ex-Today Show host Matt Lauer, have prompted her to speak out. Vester told Variety that the sexual advances began four years after she began her NBC career during Pope John Paul's 1993 visit to Denver. "I’m standing there, and Tom Brokaw enters through the door and grabs me from behind and proceeds to tickle me up and down my waist," she said.
