SAN YSIDRO, Calif. (KGTV) -- The Department of Justice has filed complaints against 11 people believed to be in the caravan currently at the U.S.-Mexico border, accusing them of illegally entering the United States.Two Salvadorans, six Hondurans and three Guatemalans face the charges, CNN reports.10 of those charged face a misdemeanor chare for allegedly entering the U.S. illegally while another individual allegedly entered the country after being deported.A probable cause statement alleges many of those charged were seen in an area known as Goat Canyon on the U.S. side of the border. SANTA ANA (CNS) - An Orange County pastor is due in a Santa Ana courtroom Monday on felony charges of molesting seven children ages 5 to 15.John Rodgers McFarland, who has been the head pastor at Orangethorpe United Methodist Church in Fullerton since 2014, was arrested on a warrant Thursday charging him with seven counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14 and four counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor 14 to 15 years old.The 56-year-old Fullerton resident is accused of molesting the children between 2003 and 2017, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office.McFarland, who's being held in the Orange County Jail in lieu of million bail, faces up to 179 years to life in prison if convicted, prosecutors said.RELATED: Pastor arrested by Escondido Police on suspicion of child molestationIn San Diego County, McFarland was arrested and charged in December with molesting a girl younger than 14 in Escondido between 2012 and 2013. SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Students at California Polytechnic State University are demanding action after a social media post showed a fraternity member in blackface.  The outrage came after a photo surfaced showing members of the fraternity throwing gang signs while dressed as gangster stereotypes, according to The Tribune.A photo later surfaced showing a fraternity member in blackface. The Instagram account that posted the photo has since been deleted.Late Monday afternoon, the dean of students announced that the fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha, had been placed on interim suspension.The fraternity said in a statement to the school's newspaper that it is sorry "for failing to recognize the racial impacts this brought forth." 750

He had big, red, open sores throughout his scalp. It was really itchy." As a salesperson, Ostby is what the company calls a Market Partner.  "I have over 100 people in my downline -- customers and Market Partners. I reached up to my W-2 said five figures in those eight months in additional income. So realizing what was happening was a hard pill to swallow."Her decision to stop selling Monat didn't come easily."I was crying to my husband," she recalls. "I was vacuuming every day because I was losing so much hair. (KGTV) - The library at Willow Elementary School is officially be renamed the "Ramon Parra Library" on Friday, in honor a man who dedicated his life to the children of San Ysidro."Anything that needed to be done, he did it," remembers Emilio Noriega, Jr., who played baseball with Parra's son. "He didn't look for any help, he did it himself."Parra is credited with founding the San Ysidro Little League. He also served on the local school board for 18 years. Friends say he served on countless other committees and community boards, all working to make San Ysidro a better place."He was the kind of person that did everything for everybody and didn't ask for nothing," says Jaime Mercado. "He was one of the most honest people you ever ran across."Parra passed 30 years ago. The effort to honor him began in 2017. Mercado and a few other people from the Friends of San Ysidro group started a petition to rename the whole school after Parra. When that failed, they set their sights on the library.A GoFundMe campaign raised ,100 to pay for new lettering. The San Ysidro School Board chipped in another ,000. In addition to the name on the outside of the library, a picture of Parra and an explanation of what he meant to the community will be on display inside."There are so many people in town who never heard of him," says Noriega.
