President Donald Trump says he hopes he can end birthright citizenship in the United States with an executive order, according to an interview with Axios.In a minute-long preview of Axios' upcoming HBO series, Trump tells Axios reporter Jonathan Swan that it's "ridiculous" that any child born in the United States is automatically granted citizenship."We're the only country in the world where a person comes in, has a baby and the baby is essentially a citizen of the United States for 85 years with all of those benefits. It's ridiculous and it has to end," Trump said.Trump also stated that he believes the statute could be overturned by an act of Congress, though he's confident an executive order would be sufficient. (KGTV) — The Fairbanks Ranch Country Club is an oasis along an otherwise remote stretch of road that winds away from Del Mar.But for a number of female employees working inside its clubhouse, it was something much darker.A new lawsuit filed by the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleges that around 2016, former manager Shant Karian sexually harassed a number of the workers, with financial consequences if they didn't play along.For one of the workers, the suit says Karian repeatedly made sexual advances, hitting her buttocks, putting his arm around her waste and choking her, and repeatedly pursuing her sexually. RAINBOW, Calif. (KGTV) — Two people are dead following a wrong-way collision on Interstate 15 in North San Diego County late Friday.A white Hyundai Elantra heading northbound entered southbound I-15 from Deer Springs Rd. at about 11 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol. The male driver was reportedly using the fast lane as he traveled at high speed in the wrong direction, CHP said.A CHP trooper started a traffic break near State Route 76 in an attempt to stop the Hyundai, but the vehicle failed to stop for the traffic break and continued northbound. The CHP unit turned around and started following the Hyundai from the northbound side.TIMELINE: Wrong-way crashes in San Diego CountyJust before 11:30 p.m., CHP received a report of a vehicle crash near Rainbow Valley Blvd. Troopers arrived to find the Hyundai had collided with a grey Honda Civic traveling in the right direction.The female driver of the Honda, identified as a 20-year-old from Murrieta, died at the scene. The driver of the Hyundai, identified as a 23-year-old from Lake Elsinore, was taken to Palomar Medical Center, where he later died.Investigators believe impairment was a factor in the crash.
