(KGTV) — Disney is delaying plans to reopen Disneyland and California Adventure in July, saying state guidelines will not be issued soon enough to prepare its parks to welcome back guests.Earlier this month, Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure Park were slated to reopen on July 17 after being shuttered since March. Disney said the parks will plan to limit attendance using a reservation system in order to prevent overcrowd and encourage distancing between guests. Park experiences like parades, nighttime shows, and character meet-and-greets would also be temporarily suspended. Characters will still roam around the park, Disney said."Because theme park capacity will be significantly limited to comply with governmental requirements and promote physical distancing, the Disneyland Resort will manage attendance through a new theme park reservation system that will require all guests, including Annual Passholders, to obtain a reservation for park entry in advance," the park said on its official blog. "Once approved, the Disneyland Resort will reopen with enhanced health and safety measures. (KGTV) — An elderly driver led Los Angeles-area officers on a slow-speed pursuit on the 101 Freeway Wednesday, before being taken into custody.The driver began the pursuit with California Highway Patrol officers just after 1 p.m. in the San Gabriel Valley area, according ABC-affiliate KABC. CHP officers tried to pull the driver's SUV over for a carpool violation but the vehicle continued down the freeway, KABC reported.Officers followed the driver at normal highway speeds through Glendale and into the San Fernando Valley, before officers pulled in front of the driver's SUV and slowed the vehicle down.As officers approached the vehicle, the driver was cooperative and stepped out of the vehicle without incident.The driver, who appeared to be an elderly man, seemed disoriented as officers took him into custody, KABC reported. 842

(KGTV) - California residents are feeling the crunch of rising home costs, so much so that many have considered moving out of the state, according to a poll from UC Berkeley.A new study from the UC Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies revealed about 48 percent of California voters described housing affordability as an "extremely serious" problem in their area, with 36 percent saying it's "somewhat serious."RELATED: San Diego's housing crisis prompts M trust fund for affordable housingPerhaps more alarming, the issue has caused about 56 percent of voters to consider moving from their area, a quarter of those respondents saying they would likely leave the state.
