SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A 63-year-old man was shot several times during an argument in San Diego’s Jamacha-Lomita neighborhood Friday afternoon.Police say the shooting happened on the 7900 block of Gribble Street just before 4 p.m.According to police, the victim and suspect got into an argument when the 63-year-old was shot three times. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A 9-year old in Ocean Beach is using his lemonade stand to help others.Dylan Rodriguez sets up his lemonade stand on Bacon Street every Wednesday near the OB Farmer's Market. Initially, he wanted to make some money for himself."He wanted to raise a 0 bill," says his mother, Holly Raines.But after accomplishing that goal, his efforts became more altruistic."It feels nice helping somebody out, because, if I was in that position, I would like a lot of help too," says Dylan.Over the past three years, he's used some of the money from the lemonade stand to pay for a handful of charitable projects. He's given backpacks of supplies to the homeless, bought art supplies for kids at Rady's Childrens Hospital and bought holiday presents for refugee families."It makes me satisfied knowing that he's got a giant heart," says Raines.Recently, Dylan's giving has become more personal. One of his friends was diagnosed with a form of Muscular Dystrophy. Dylan decided to help with payments for his treatments."He needs a lot of money for each treatment," says Dylan. "It's, like, ,000 each time. So I'm trying to raise money for him."In June, Dylan was able to give his friend 0. He says he'll keep giving his lemonade money to his friend indefinitely."I'd like to give him ,000," says Dylan. SAN DIEGO (CNS) - This fall could bring dangerous wildfire conditions to San Diego and surrounding areas of the county, according to a report scheduled to be delivered Monday to the City Council's Public Safety and Livable Neighborhoods Committee.In his presentation, San Diego Fire-Rescue Department Chief Brian Fennessy notes that winter rains promoted more grass growth than usual throughout the city. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A fire ripped through a Lakeside strip mall late Tuesday evening, but no injuries were reported.The fire broke out just after 11 p.m. in the 9700 block of Winter Gardens Blvd, near Woodside avenue.When firefighters arrived on scene the blaze spread to several businesses. Most of the damage was to the outside of the buildings but thick black smoke did get inside.By 11:30 p.m., the flames were knocked downNo injuries were immediately reported.The cause of the fire is under investigation. 518

San Diego (KGTV) -- A 41-year-old woman suffered serious injuries Monday night when she was hit by an SUV while crossing the street in Pacific Beach.Police say the collision happened shortly before 10:40 p.m. on Grand Avenue west of Mission Bay Drive.A 24-year-old woman was driving a 2018 Jeep Cherokee eastbound of Grand Avenue while the victim was crossing the street southbound, then stepped off the center median and was struck by the Jeep. Paramedics took the victim to Scripps La Jolla Hospital with major injuries. She is expected to survive.The driver remained at the scene. 591
