(KGTV) — Police are looking for a missing at-risk woman who disappeared in Escondido.Linda Hallam Brown, 67, has Alzheimer's disease and was last seen in the area of Mission Ave. and Quince St. at about 9:45 p.m. Friday.She is described as 5 feet 2 inches, 118 pounds, with dark grey shoulder-length hair and hazel eyes. ENCINITAS (CNS) - The city of Encinitas announced its intent Tuesday to join a countywide joint-powers authority that would provide energy service to residents and compete with private companies like San Diego Gas & Electric.The Encinitas City Council voted Aug. 21 to join the JPA, which will be headed by the city of San Diego, because it aligns with the city's Climate Action Plan. In February, the San Diego City Council voted to begin the process of establishing a so-called community choice energy program with the intention of inviting other cities into the fold as the program expands.The county of San Diego and the cities of Chula Vista and La Mesa have also expressed a willingness to join the CCE program in recent weeks. ENGLEWOOD, Colo -- Englewood School District confirmed it is investigating a "fight club" after a video on social media from one of its middle schools made its way into the public light. Scripps station KMGH in Denver received a video of two students at Englewood Middle School fighting, and that parent is concerned her child might be next. According to that parent, who wishes to remain anonymous, there are "fight club social media pages" with videos from fights at Englewood Middle School. One of those videos was recorded on April 5. The video shows one student assaulting another, according to officials at Englewood Schools. The district said the student responsible is now facing disciplinary and legal action. Englewood Police Department sent a statement that one girl was issued a summons for assault. KMGH was not able to find the social media pages, but the district confirmed it is aware of the social media groups and are trying to find those who are responsible for those pages to hold them accountable. The mother who contacted KMGH said through text that those social media pages spread that her child may be the next target and she's "petrified to send her back to school." The district said it will be increasing its security presence at the Englewood Campus as a result.  1349

ENCINITAS, Calif. (KGTV) -- A girl who disappeared from Moonlight Beach Tuesday afternoon was found safe in San Marcos. According to lifeguards, the 14-year-old girl’s family called to report her missing just before 5 p.m. Just before 6 p.m. the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said the young girl was located in San Marcos. It's unclear at this time what the girl was doing in San Marcos, but the department said family members were traveling to the city to pick her up. 487
