SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A pilot suffered minor injuries Wednesday after a small plane landed hard at Fallbrook Airpark and skidded off a runway.The incident involving a small aircraft was reported just before 9:55 a.m. at the Fallbrook Airpark on 2155 Air Park Rd., authorities said.According to a North County Fire Protection District official, the plane was in the air when it experienced mechanical problems. The pilot landed at the airport, but the plane skidded 50-70 feet off the end of the runway and came to rest in a dirt area.The plane did not catch fire, the department said.The department said the pilot, who was the only person on board, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Palomar Medical Center for treatment.ABC 10New learned the FAA will investigate the incident. 788

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A marijuana delivery driver was robbed at gun point and shot in North Park late Friday.According to San Diego Police Officer Robert Heims, the 21-year-old victim was making a delivery in the 2000 block of Haller Street at about 9:01 p.m. when a gunmen approached his vehicle and demanded marijuana.Related: Million dollar Fed?cartel seizureThe driver grabbed the suspect's gun and as they wrestled for the weapon the driver was shot twice in the right hand. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A person is back in ICE custody and in isolation after they were taken to Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center to be evaluated for possible coronavirus symptoms.The individual was in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement when officials determined the person needed to be taken to Sharp Chula Vista, the county said. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A man fired as many as five shots at a parked car in San Ysidro Wednesday morning, San Diego Police said.The shooting happened at 7 a.m. at an apartment complex near West San Ysidro Boulevard and Dairy Mart Road, according to officers.No one was hurt by the gunfire.Police said the man surrendered peacefully when they arrived at the scene. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A San Diego family just got bigger thanks to results from a recently taken DNA test.Sita Brooke and her brother, Odie, met their sister Eva Knight for the first time Friday. Brooke's father, Jim, was also on hand to meet his daughter.Brooke told 10News she purchased a DNA kit from Ancestry.com for her parents last Christmas to learn more about her family's origins. Knight, from Arizona, had also taken a DNA test recently.A parental match popped up for both of them.Brooke's dad served for 33 years in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Trinidad at one point, where he met Knight's mother. And the sister's have even more in common. Knight is also originally from San Diego before moving to Arizona.The family members are now enjoying their newly discovered connections. 800
