The Trump administration is considering a new travel ban to replace its original executive order, which has had its legality questioned and is up for a Supreme Court hearing next month, White House national security adviser H.R. The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is recalling nearly half a million Kidde smoke detectors, saying they could fail to work in the event of a fire.According to the CPSC, anyone with a Kidde smoke alarm should remove their alarm from the ceiling or wall and look for a yellow cap on the inside of the alarm (see photo above). The South Bend Police Department offers its sincerest condolences to Officer Alan Wiegand and his family during this difficult time following the tragic loss of their child while in Puerto Rico.
