Coronavirus testing was done on anyone who may have had contact with the product, and so far tests have come back negative, according to city officials.Authorities are tracing related products from the same brand that have already been sold, and have disinfected the area where the contaminated chicken wings were stored, according to CNN.The city warns people about buying imported frozen meat and aquatic products and to take steps to reduce the risk of contracting the coronavirus.The CDC and WHO say the chances of catching the coronavirus from food is low.“Currently, there is no evidence to suggest that handling food or consuming food is associated with COVID-19,” the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states on their website.However, they continue by stating it is possible a person could touch a surface that has the virus on it and then touch their mouth or nose, potentially spreading the virus.The CDC recommends safe food practices like washing hands after touching food packaging and food products, and cooking meat thoroughly. 1290

A grocery store employee is being lauded for helping a teen with autism stock shelves in a fridge.Sid Edwards and his son Jack Ryan Edwards, 17, visited their local Rouses Market in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Sunday. Jack Ryan, who is on the autism spectrum, took notice of what one of the employees was working on: stocking shelves in a fridge.Edwards said Jack Ryan was mesmerized by what the store employee was doing. A Las Vegas postal worker says her bosses haven't done enough to address her concerns about a noose hanging in front of a house on her route.Nicole Brown says the home is on a route that she delivers to once a week, and after noticing the noose she stopped delivering to the home."The first day I saw it, I immediately let the supervisor know," Brown said. "I told her I felt threatened for my safety because you never know."Brown said when she delivered on the route she just skipped the street altogether because the home was the only one there. Then the homeowner called the office asking where the mail was.That's when she became concerned."If you want to put racist stuff on your property, okay fine, that is whatever," Brown said.  "Anybody that is delivering shouldn't be subjected to that."Brown said she eventually sat down with her supervisor and union representatives to address the issue.The U.S. Postal Service released a statement when contacted about Brown's concerns. 1021
