SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Police are searching for a hit-and-run suspect who drove into a woman using a motorized chair in Central San Diego.On Dec. 9, just before 4 a.m., San Diego Police say 62-year-old Gloria Williams was riding her motorized mobility device in the left lane of the 100 block of Euclid Avenue, heading northbound. It's not clear why Williams was traveling in the roadway in the Lincoln Park area.The driver of a dark-colored SUV collided into the back of Williams and continued to drive northbound, according to police. Williams died at the scene.Police said they were able to retrieve some details of the suspect's vehicle using optical sensors from nearby Smart Street Lights. The street lights also captured the suspect stopping at a nearby gas station.Gas station surveillance footage showed the suspect, a black man wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers hooded sweatshirt and checkered pants, enter the gas station using a cane.Police are now asking the public for help to identify the suspect. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – Petco Park in downtown San Diego is being transformed into a destination for those looking for family-friendly Halloween fun.From Oct. 23-Nov. 1, the San Diego Padres are hosting The Halloween Trail at Petco Park – an event described as “a socially distanced one-way Halloween-themed trail and pumpkin patch in Gallagher Square where guests will have the opportunity to visit various themed booths, collect candy and toys and partake in the spooky festivities.”As guests journey on the decorated Halloween Trail, booths will be in place to offer treats “via contactless delivery.”After completing the trail, guests can enjoy their candy or purchased food/drinks while watching a Halloween move in the park -- all while socially distanced.Adults 21 and over will have their own special Halloween experience: “The Halloween Trail at Petco Park Movie Night, a special outdoor movie experience for adults 21 and up complete with Halloween snacks and a Halloween-favorite movie. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Newly unsealed court documents reveal how investigators were able to identify the suspected Church's Chicken shooter.Albert Lee Blake, 49, was arrested weeks after the shooting erupted inside of the Otay Mesa West restaurant. Blake is accused of shooting three employees and killing Maribel Ibanez. The shooting happened after an argument stemming from Blake allegedly trying to use a fake 0 dollar bill to purchase food. A number of witnesses gave similar descriptions of the man seen shooting inside of the Church's Chicken. Witnesses reported the man coming back into the restaurant after the argument, standing in line, then shooting at employees. They also said he calmly walked away after and got into a blue sedan.RELATED COVERAGE: Court documents reveal details in Church's Chicken murder investigationAccording to search warrant affidavits, surveillance footage from the area revealed the car used by the alleged shooter. Police ran the license plate through their database and found a match. The same vehicle was connected to a stop in September and the driver then was Albert Blake. In the documents the wife, Amy Collins, says the two have been separated for three years, but she allowed him to use the car.She also told investigators that when she asked for the car back, Blake told her she would never get it back and that he would "blow the vehicle up."According to the documents, investigators later went to the girlfriend's apartment in Spring Valley. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police are looking for a driver involved in a two-car crash that injured pedestrians Tuesday night.The crash happened at the corner of Sixth Avenue and Laurel Street near Balboa Park. One couple said they were headed to the Haunted Trail at Balboa Park and were waiting to cross the street when they saw two cars headed for them.“I just saw the headlights going towards me, and if I didn't dodge that car, I would have been pinned on that tree. When I fell on the floor I saw that car slam on that tree,” one of the pedestrians said.  Police say a white Toyota was headed south on Sixth Avenue and as it was crossing the intersection of Laurel Street, it was hit by a blue Honda that was making a left turn onto Sixth Avenue.  The driver of the Toyota stayed on scene, but police say the driver of the Honda took off.Officers did not have a very description of the driver, and it’s unclear if there were passengers in their car.  Police say three people were transported to the hospital. All had minor injuries. 1053
