As time expired in a major college basketball rivalry game between Kansas and Kansas State, a bench-clearing brawl ensued between the two squads, forcing fans to take cover. In video provided by ESPN, the incident started when a Kansas basketball player went up to block the shot of a Kansas State player as time expired. While there was some contact between players on the play, the contact was appeared relatively minor. With the Kansas State player on the court, players from both teams came rushing under the hoop. Players and other team personnel then exchanged punches and shoves. The incident died out after 45 seconds as coaches, referees and police officers worked to separate the two squads. Baltimore did not take President Donald Trump's recent attack of the city lying down. Instead, Charm City was quick to stand up and fight back.Trump lashed out at another prominent African American lawmaker on Saturday, tweeting that his Baltimore district is a "disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess."The President's tirade was directed at House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings, who represents Maryland's 7th Congressional District in the House and recently lambasted conditions at the border. Trump's attack against Cummings was the latest verbal assault against a minority member of Congress who is a frequent critic of the President.The President suggested that conditions in Cummings' district, which is majority black and includes parts of Baltimore, are "FAR WORSE and more dangerous" than those at the US-Mexico border and called it a "very dangerous & filthy place."Cummings, the city's leaders and residents were quick to defend Baltimore. At its height, millions of smartphone users played along to HQ Trivia, a live trivia game show where anyone could win actual cash. Depending on the number of winners on a given night, winners could earn anything from pennies to thousands. But as of Friday, it appears the smartphone game is no more. HQ Trivia has suspended the service, the company announced on its app on Friday. CNN was first to report the news. CNN reported that HQ Trivia is laying off its remaining 25 employees. In an email obtained by CNN, CEO Rus Yusupov told employees, "Lead investors are no longer willing to fund the company, and so effective today, HQ will cease operations and move to dissolution."The service launched late in 2017, and turned its then host Scott Rogowsky into a celebrity. Rogowsky made appearances on various TV outlets, promoting the game. Rogowsky stepped down from the game in 2019.
