COLLIER COUNTY, Florida — Troopers are sharing a video of a wrong way driver on Interstate 75 to highlight the dangers of impaired driving.Florida Highway Patrol's Lt. Greg Bueno shared the video on Twitter Thursday.The video, recorded early Tuesday morning along Alligator Alley, shows a car speed by driving the wrong direction.  The trooper immediately turned around and crossed the median to follow the driver.Shortly after, the trooper sees the wrong way driver making a U-turn, and the trooper crosses the median again to pull the driver over.Lt. (KGTV) — Coronado officials warned beachgoers of two shark sightings on Sunday, almost 10 days following four other sightings.The city posted on Facebook that two white shark sightings occurred off South Beach at 9:10 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Officials added that a local surfer who reported the second sighting said the shark was possibly longer than 10 feet and seen about 50 yards offshore.Both sightings occurred near Tower 1C at Avenida de las Arenas, and the shark did not show any engaging behavior. Beachgoers were alerted Sunday and encouraged to check with lifeguards before going into the water. Sunday's sightings come nearly 10 days after Coronado said four shark sightings in two and a half hours prompted warnings. 748

(KGTV) — Village Elementary is working to notify anyone who may have had contact with a staff member who tested positive for the coronavirus.In a letter to parents on Sunday, principal Heidi Bergener wrote that the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency confirmed that a staff member had contracted COVID-19 and that the county is in the process of investigating and monitoring the individual.Anyone who has come into contact with the staff member will be notified by the Coronado Unified School District nurse with instructions to self-quarantine, Bergener's letter said."Due to what we know at this time about how COVID-19 spreads, public health officials have indicated that all of us should consider ourselves as being potentially exposed," Bergener said in the letter.The name of the staff member was not provided due to privacy laws.Anyone with questions was asked to call the District Nurse at 619-972-8528. 950

College campuses across the country have largely sat empty for months, but as schools consider whether to bring students back, they're also considering their legal obligations.“They are a business that needs revenue to function,” explained Chris Feudo, an attorney with Foley Hoag in Boston, Massachusetts.As an attorney, Feudo has been advising folks about COVID-19 waivers, which gained national notoriety leading up to President Donald Trump’s rally in Tulsa last month. Businesses have also been turning to these forms in hopes of freeing themselves from legal responsibility if someone catches the virus.The next round of waivers could be coming from colleges and universities, and many have already mandated student-athletes to start signing the forms in order to start practicing.
