BEIJING, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Friday sent a message to his Sri Lankan counterpart Mangala Samaraweera, extending condolences over the flash floods and landslides hitting the island country.

The government will further cut red tape and improve market supervision, including compiling a negative list to enhance market access regulation. Market threshold of some major industries will be lowered for investors, and the current investment and financing mechanism will be improved, according to the statement.

Salt producers will be able to determine their own production scale and market salt directly, rather than selling only to state distributors, while price controls will be scraped from 2017, according to a statement by the State Council on Thursday.

"Any country, that ignores the basic facts, draws lines for allies or intentionally sparks political exploitation over the South China Sea issue, could get no result or support, but only destroy the reputation of itself," Wang said.

We will implement tourism promotion and investment promotion plans, increase market access for private capital and deepen external cooperation to provide more impetus for tourism to grow. We will improve the infrastructure for transportation facilities, scenic spots, self-drive tour camps, and digital installations. We will strengthen market regulation and oversight to offer richer, more convenient and safer travel experience to both Chinese and foreign tourists. Besides, we will encourage holistic tourism destinations development and the "tourism plus" program, and vigorously develop rural tourism, industrial tourism, culture tourism, and seniors and health tourism. Those programs, combined with the "Internet plus" initiative, are designed to promote the integrated development of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries through tourism growth. To upgrade tourism will be a good way to improve the economy, both in efficiency and in quality.
