The suspect told school police the comment was not meant to be taken seriously. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A nightmare of an opening week is continuing for an Ocean Beach tattoo shop. First, around 4 a.m. Saturday, surveillance video shows a man igniting an explosive against the window of Blackwater Tattoo Studio. Then, Sunday around 11:30 p.m., another man rides by on a skateboard, throwing a battery like cylinder through the same window. The owner, Mike Kellerman, shared surveillance video with 10News of both incidents. RELATED: Increased police presence in Ocean Beach following series of crimesThe first video shows a man skateboarding to the front of the business, taping something to the front window, and lighting it on fire. Moments later, the device explodes and blasts a hole in the window. "I expected the first one; the second one kind of pushed the limit," Kellerman said, adding he is not going anywhere. Kellerman said he believes his business is being targeted by a rival tattoo shop on Newport Avenue, but wouldn't say which one.RELATED: Homeless heroes help Ocean Beach theft victim track down her bikeHe told 10News he was confronted by a man from that shop earlier in the week who threatened him about opening in the community. Kellerman shared the information with San Diego Police. Anyone with information is asked to call SDPD. 1278

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A Point Loma woman says while her family was sleeping, someone was in her home stealing from them.Tucked away on a hill along scenic La Crescentia Drivel, the serenity was interrupted when Teresa Cesear and her husband got up around 5 a.m. Wednesday."Panic, absolutely panic," said Cesear.Cesear says her purse and laptop bag — computer inside — were not where she had placed them on her kitchen stool.Reality quickly set in. Those items didn't disappear on their own. "My entire personal and work life were in those two bags. Then came the fear and sense of violation," said Cesear. The violation happened quietly as she, her husband, and her grown son slept."The police said that they must have looked in the window. There's a nightlight in the kitchen, so they see my laptop and purse and somehow got this locked kitchen door open," said Cesear.Among the missing items were credit cards, keys and one special key: The original key to her 1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia."Really sad ... It's an important part of it because it's a very unique key," said Cesear. The break-in is the second burglary in her cul-de-sac in the past few months. "You feel like a little bit of innocence is gone," said Cesear.Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477. 1311

He used the video to warn those who he has had contact with."No reason for me to panic. Of course, it's a little bit scary. My body's going to fight it ... This is the best way to let people know who have been around me that I do have it. So if you have been in direct contact with you, it's possible you may have been exposed," said Moore. In a follow-up video Monday, Moore went into more detail about his symptoms, some of them beginning earlier in the week.CORONAVIRUS COVERAGE:San Diego County leaders set up community response fund amid coronavirusSan Diego County small businesses can apply for disaster assistance loans"My symptoms originally were a cough. It was a really croupy cough, a lot of nasal congestion ... some sweats. My body temperature was just kind of off, and then breathing, specifically after I would work out. It would take me sometimes up to 30 minutes to catch my breath back to a normal pace," said Moore. While Moore did deal with the sweats, he says he never suffered a fever."Just because you don't present a fever doesn't mean that other symptoms don't run the possibility of you having the coronavirus or COVID-19," said Moore.CORONAVIRUS COVERAGE: Navy closes San Diego Training Support Command after third coronavirus caseMoore is one of three sailors and one of five active-duty military in San Diego to test positive. The hospital says it was informed of the recovery by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The individual is no longer infectious and was discharged Wednesday.
