SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A San Diego Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agent accused of pointing a gun at a man in East County was charged Tuesday.Investigators said Agent Ed Zuchelli waved the gun at a young man who was riding a dirt bike in Lake Murray on February 16.Zuchelli is also accused of driving drunk. San Diego Police confirm he was in a government-issued vehicle at the time of the arrest. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A man with San Diego ties who worked for the U.S. government is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting multiple women, according to federal court documents.An FBI spokesperson confirmed Brian Jeffrey Raymond was arrested in La Mesa earlier this month.The arrest was first reported by The Daily Beast.Team 10 learned his arrest on October 9th took place in the parking lot of a La Mesa gym. Currently, he faces one charge related to sexual assault, but prosecutors said he is under investigation for crimes against 21 other women.Raymond, who most recently worked for the U.S embassy in Mexico City, had worked for the government for 23 years."For years, he has exerted power and control over unconscious women, undressing them, sexually assaulting them, photographing them, and recording them without their knowledge or consent," prosecutors wrote in court documents. They called him an "experienced sexual predator."He is currently at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in downtown. In a hearing this week, he was ordered to be transferred to Washington D.C. The investigation showed in May 2020, police in Mexico City responded to Raymond's apartment to reports of a "naked, hysterical woman desperately screaming for help." The woman said she met Raymond on Tinder. Their date eventually led to his apartment, where they ate snacks and drank "from a wine glass [Raymond] provided in his residence," documents showed. The victim said she suddenly blacked out. A sexual assault examination showed several injuries.On Raymond's devices and iCloud, investigators said they found approximately 400 photos and videos, some dating back to 2011. They showed at least "21 different unconscious women." Some of the women were fully nude.Law enforcement said they found his internet searches included "passed out black girl," "deep sleep," and "Ambien and alcohol side effects."The alleged assaults took place from Mexico City to Virginia, according to prosecutors. Raymond's parents live in La Mesa. Documents showed he moved back to their home in June after he resigned from his job. In an interview with federal agents, his parents said "they feel like they do not know their son" and were surprised when he came to visit. Prosecutors said his behavior was escalating, even after his arrest. A week before he was arrested in La Mesa, they said Raymond met another women who could only remember small fragments of their sexual encounter.Raymond's attorney did not return Team 10's request for comment. 2531

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A Paradise Hills family is in search of a good Samaritan after a young autistic man was mugged and beaten for his brand new iPhone, just blocks from his home.The incident played out along Briarwood Road on an afternoon two weeks ago. Garrett De Leon had just gotten off work and off the bus.His pride and joy was in his right hand - a new iPhone 10 that his parents gave to him for his birthday. Deleon was texting his mom that he was blocks from home, when it happened."This guy came from behind me and snatched my phone and pushed me to the ground," said De Leon.De Leon says he fought back, the two struggling on the ground. "He pushed me again and runs to the car," said De Leon.Deleon says he chased the man - a tall, lean black man wearing a beanie - to an older black car, where the man jumped in the back seat, the window rolled down."He tells his buddy to take off immediately," said De Leon. In the meantime, the thief was hitting De Leon, who says he was delivering his own blows through the window."I had too much adrenaline and didn't feel pain. Hopped up on anger and determined to get at them and at the phone," said De Leon.After the car started up, it dragged De Leon some 100 feet before he was thrown off, bloodied with cuts and and scrapes, and a sprained hand.Soon after, a Hispanic woman in her 20s, with a baby in her back seat, raced to his side. She tended to him before calling 9-1-1."Shows there are good people. She was more worried about me than her baby," said De Leon.When help arrived and she left, De Leon never got her name. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A person was hit and killed following a crash in San Diego late Saturday night. CHP says a driver lost control and crashed on SR-94 just west of I-805 around 10:30 p.m. Saturday night. According to officers, the driver then got out of the car and started walking to an off-ramp when they were hit by another vehicle. The victim died at the scene, CHP says. The car that hit the victim fled the scene. At this time, it’s unclear if drugs or alcohol were factors in either crash. 506

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A pair of North San Diego County residences may become the latest local site to receive a national historic place designation.The Boathouses in Encinitas will be considered at an Aug. 1 meeting by the California State Historical Resources Commission to be placed on the National Register of Historic Places.On 3rd Street, the pair of boathouses, known as the S.S. Moonlight and the S.S. Encinitas, sit blocks from the water but remain very much connected to 1920s life on the water. They were always intended to be homes and not actual vessels, but also meant to replicate the appearance and scale of boats at the time.Today, the homes represent what the California agency calls "an architecturally significant example of Fantasy-themed programmatic residential architecture." In short: Residential architecture meant to resemble something other than a traditional building.The boathouses were purchased by the Encinitas Preservation Association in 2008 and are currently rented out as private homes. Once the loan is paid off though, the plan is to convert the pair of quirky dwellings into a small museum.But explorers can visit the homes anytime on 3rd St. or do so with a helping of history from the Encinitas Historical Society during guided walking tours every third Saturday between Sept. and July. 1564
