She added that "we want to own the healthy kitchen" and "make healthy cooking accessible to everyone."That strategy is clearly working. The company has attracted more men lately because of the new Freestyle offering. Actor and writer Kevin Smith, celebrity chef Eric Greenspan and music mogul DJ Khaled are all endorsing Weight Watchers.But as the stock price of Weight Watchers has climbed, Winfrey has actually taken some of her Weight Watchers chips off the table recently.She still owns nearly 5.5 million shares. But she sold about 2 million in March at prices ranging from about to a share. She made 0 million in the process.Winfrey also donated more than 360,000 shares to her charitable organization.Investors aren't worried about the stock sales, though. (KGTV) --The man accused of crashing into a car in Oceanside while under the influence, killing three people and injuring three others appeared in court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing. Mason Fish is accused of driving under the influence during the February 5 crash. Oceanside Police say he ran a red light on South Coast Highway at Oceanside Boulevard and crashed his Toyota Tacoma into a Mazda, killing three woman and injuring three others. Petra Arango, 40, of Oceanside; Rufina Rodriguez, 74, of Fallbrook; and 56-year-old Eloina Arango, of Mexico, were identified as the victims. A 13-year-old girl, who neighbors and friends call Kelly, was ejected from the vehicle and seriously injured. Aquilino Arango Ojeda, 82, of Fallbrook; and 43-year-old Rey David Velasco Herrera, of Oceanside, were in the front seats of the vehicle and also seriously injured. He added, in regards to the crashes, that Fish "tapped" a car at a red light and was sideswiped.The judge Tuesday found that there is sufficient evidence to send the case to trial. He is due back in court August 20. OTAY MESA (CNS) - A pedestrian died Thursday after being struck by a hit- and-run motorist near Brown Field Municipal Airport, authorities reported.The 21-year-old woman was in a crosswalk in the 8200 block of Otay Mesa Road when a westbound silver Nissan Altima struck her about 9:15 a.m., according to San Diego police.The victim, whose name was withheld pending family notification, died at the scene.Following the fatal impact, the motorist continued driving and fled the area to the west, Officer Tony Martinez said.The vehicle is described as a four-door, silver-colored Nissan Altima. It was last seen traveling northbound on Heritage Rd. towards Chula Vista. 674

(AP) — A federal judge has stopped the 2020 census from finishing at the end of September and ordered the once-a-decade head count of every U.S. resident extended for another month through the end of October. U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh said in her ruling late Thursday that a shortened schedule would likely produce inaccurate results. A coalition of civil rights groups and local governments had sued the Census Bureau in an effort to prevent the 2020 census from stopping at the end of the month. They said the shortened schedule would undercount residents in minority and hard-to-count communities.Koh said inaccuracies produced from a shortened schedule would affect the distribution of federal funding and political representation. The census is used to determine how .5 trillion in federal spending is distributed each year and how many congressional seats each state gets.Government attorneys had argued that the census must finish by the end of September to meet a Dec. 31 deadline for turning over numbers used for deciding how many congressional seats each state gets.Koh’s preliminary injunction suspends that end-of-the-year deadline, too. OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. — A Michigan judge has ruled a 15-year-old girl will stay in a juvenile detention center for violating probation after not completing online coursework.Grace had gotten into legal trouble last year, and as one of the conditions of her probation, she had to attend school and complete classwork, which her mother tells ProPublica her daughter was doing until the pandemic hit.ProPublica, a nonprofit publication, brought attention to Grace's story."This is a student with disabilities who was struggling with remote learning situation and ended up in detention because of that," said Jodi Cohen, a reporter with ProPublica Chicago."In school the student gets one-on-one support from teachers and is allowed extra time to complete assignments because of (ADHD) and other disabilities," Cohen said. 825
