LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- One former police officer has been charged in the Breonna Taylor case, but that doesn't mean it's the end of investigations.People across the country have been following the case of Taylor's death, and many wanted to see the officers involved face criminal charges. Demonstrations were held Wednesday night in Louisville and other cities after it was announced former Louisville Metro Police Department Detective Brett Hankison's charges of wanton endangerment are not directly related to Taylor's death. Additionally, two officers who fired shots the night Taylor was killed will not face criminal charges. They do still face another investigation, though.The Courier-Journal reports that the Louisville police department is conducting a Professional Standards Unit investigation to determine whether they and four other officers violated police policy or rules during the raid. The results of this internal review could lead to disciplinary action.Also, the FBI is conducting an investigation that could result in civil rights violations.Governor Andy Beshear is calling for the details of the state's investigation to be posted online by Attorney General Daniel Cameron."I trust Kentuckians. They deserve to see the facts for themselves, and I believe that the ability to process those facts helps everybody," said Beshear.Taylor's case is one of many that became a focus in the conversation about police reform. Attorney General Cameron says he'll form a task force to look at Kentucky's search warrants' policies. LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — The Kentucky attorney general's office says two long-rifle shell casings were found in and near Breonna Taylor's apartment after a police drug raid that left her dead. It's the first time these specific shell casings have been mentioned by authorities investigating Taylor's death in March. One was found inside and the other outside Taylor's apartment. The notice of the two shell casings was filed in former Officer Brett Hankison's wanton endangerment case. According to the Associated Press, the one-page court filing does not say why the shell casings would be favorable to Hankison’s defense.Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron didn't mention the long-rifle casings at a September news conference announcing the indictment against Hankison, the AP reported.Another officer at Taylor's apartment that night was Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly. On Friday, Mattingly filed a counterclaim suit against Taylor's boyfriend, who previously had sued the police department. LOVELAND, Ohio -- Someone drove through the wall of a sports bar near Cincinnati early Sunday after a fight, according to another patron.The vehicle, a Kia Optima, crashed through a fence, across a patio and into the side of Zappz Sports Bar and Grille in Loveland, Ohio at about 2:30 a.m.Blake Freeman, who was at the bar, said the driver smashed into the building on purpose after being kicked out. Freeman said he arrived moments after that."I was standing there 30 minutes prior to this happening. McDonald's hopes new breakfast items will draw more customers to the golden arches.The company announced Tuesday that it would expand its breakfast menu. The new items, along with local deals and low prices, should help "win back customers at breakfast," said CFO Kevin Ozan during a call with analysts.With the new items, McDonald's is aiming to reverse a troubling trend: American customers are eating elsewhere.Sales in the United States grew by 2.4% in the third quarter, but that was mostly because people spent more. The number of American customers declined.Over the past couple of years, McDonald's (MCD) has tried a number of different strategies to boost its US business. It put self-order kiosks in restaurants. It added new menu items. And McDonald's added delivery.That helped boost sales among existing customers. But those initiatives, part of a massive effort to modernize its US restaurants, haven't helped McDonald's hold on to existing customers or bring in new ones.The company believes a revamped breakfast menu could help."It's very competitive out there at breakfast," said CEO Stephen Easterbrook. "We're still losing a little share ... it continues to be a battleground," he said. (KGTV) -- The devastating Woolsey Fire destroyed homes in Malibu Friday including one belonging to Caitlyn Jenner.By Friday afternoon, 14,000 acres burned, along with multiple homes, fire officials reported.
