BEIJING, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- China has decided to expand its over-the-counter (OTC) market to all qualified small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), according to an official statement released on Saturday.
The 24th Session of China-U.S. Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade (JCCT) is expected to take place from Dec. 19 to Dec. 20 in Beijing. It will be co-chaired by Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman.
"We can even reach 150 billion, 200 billion dollars or more," said the Prime Minister.
German media also devoted coverage to China's tone-setting meeting, with German News Television saying Beijing is preparing itself for the future, and that through comprehensive reforms, the Communist Party is seeking a turn in its development.
