A judge ruled Wednesday that President Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump must testify in a New York investigation into the family’s businesses before the November election. State Judge Arthur Engoron said Trump must comply with a subpoena for his testimony no later than Oct. 7. A highly anticipated audit of the city's water-billing practices could be delayed. City Auditor Eduardo Luna made the comments Thursday at the city's first public hearing after hundreds of residents complained about mysteriously high water bills. "Some of the key billing data that we're looking for may be delayed, they're looking about providing that to us in about two months, which could potentially have an impact when we complete this audit," Luna said. The city's environment committee - which includes four City Council members - held the meeting in order to question public utilities officials over the water bills.San Diegans have complained for months about spiking bills - some more than ,000. A golfer in Colorado is recovering after being gored by an elk over the weekend, splitting one of his kidneys.Zak Bornhoft was at Evergreen Golf Course about an hour west of Denver on Saturday evening. He and his friends saw dozens of elk near the course and thought they would be safe if they kept their distance, according to reports.He tells local media the large elk charged at him while he sat in a golf cart near the 17th hole. The person driving the cart brought him to the clubhouse to get help.The Elk’s antler sliced his left kidney in two. Bornhoft was rushed to the hospital, and treated in the ICU. He is reportedly making a good recovery.Elk are allowed to roam freely in the area of the course, and wildlife officials say attacks on golfers are rare. 773
