PARSONS, Tennessee — A 12-year-old boy led a Decatur County, Tennessee deputy on a chase Thursday morning during a “joyride” in his father’s truck before later crashing into a building. The call came in around 5:45 a.m. local time when the owner of the vehicle reported it as his son and truck. Sheriff Keith Byrd said the boy went on a "joyride" in his father's truck.A deputy later spotted the truck and tried to stop it but the boy allegedly fled. From there, he crashed into a business near two highways.The was significant damage to the building. The boy suffered some bruises. It’s unclear whether he'll face charges. 651

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KGTV) - The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway reopened to visitors Monday after storm damage that closed the popular attraction for almost two months. The Valentine’s Day storm severed the power feed to the mountain and washed out a road, according to tram officials. Crews spent weeks making necessary repairs and cleaning up damage. The closure kept 100,000 visitors away, tram officials estimate. The storm led to almost million in repair costs and lost revenues. “It’s been a long six weeks for everyone, but today we are delighted to finally welcome back Tram visitors. On behalf of the entire Tramway staff, we are thrilled to be back open for business and truly appreciate the community’s support throughout our closure,” said Tramway General Manager Nancy Nichols. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, which is the world’s largest rotating tram car, opened in 1963. Its 80-passenger cars take travelers from the desert floor to the Mountain Station at an elevation of 8,516 feet in 10 minutes. Visitors can enjoy two restaurants, a natural history museum, documentary theaters, and hiking trails at the top. The tram opens at 10 a.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Police have made an arrest in the death of Melinda Pleskovic — a long-time Strongsville, Ohio teacher.The fiancé of Melinda's daughter has been charged with aggravated murder.Jeffrey Scullin, 20, was arrested Tuesday. He told the dispatcher the person he saw looked like him."Probably a male," he can be heard saying on the call. "They were around my size and I'm pretty big. PHOENIX — Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego says one area hospital is nearing capacity in its morgue and may be requesting refrigerated trucks. The morgue at the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's office is also reportedly near capacity.Gallego said Friday morning that officials are looking at an option to prevent problems at the Phoenix-area Abrazo Health Hospital."It's specific just to one area…this is not a statewide problem," Gallego said. "Maricopa County... is looking at everything they can do."Abrazo Health later issued a statement saying that they have "adequate" morgue space, but are taking "proactive" steps to ensure they have overflow morgue space if needed.Gallego added that "we are losing too many Arizonans." She also urged Arizona Gov.
