The 96 locations, which are a mixture of Kmart and Sears branded stores, are set to close by February. The closing locations will have going out of business sales starting on Dec. 2. The footprint of Sears and Kmart will further shrink by one third with this round of closures, leaving fewer than 200 total locations nationally between the two brands. This announcement comes less than a year after more than 200 Sears and Kmart locations closed. While other retailers in recent years, such as Toys 'R' Us and RadioShack have faded away, Sears' demise would mark the end of an industry titan. The company was at one time the nation's largest retailer, selling items as small as earrings, to as big as houses. The announcement does not impact the nearly 400 locations that operate as Sears Hometown or Sears Outlet locations, which feature appliances and electronics. The House Judiciary Committee will request documents on Monday from President Donald Trump's oldest son, his business and more than 60 individuals in his administration, the panel's chair said Sunday.In an interview with ABC News' "This Week," Rep. Jerry Nadler said the requests for documents are to "begin investigations, to present the case to the American people about obstruction of justice, about corruption and abuse of power."The New York Democrat said the full list of individuals and entities would be released Monday, but he mentioned Donald Trump Jr. and Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg.Nadler also said the list would likely include former White House chief of staff John Kelly and former White House counsel Don McGahn."Impeachment's a long way down the road," said Nadler, whose panel would begin any impeachment process. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will no longer label same-sex couples "apostates" and will allow their children to be baptized into the church without special approval from church leaders, the church said in a surprise announcement Thursday.The announcement was made by Dallin Oaks, a member of the church's First Presidency, at a conference in Salt Lake City."Previously, our Handbook characterized same-gender marriage by a member as apostasy," the church said in a statement. "While we still consider such a marriage to be a serious transgression, it will not be treated as apostasy for purposes of Church discipline.
