(KGTV) - A Valley Center woman and her son are dead in an apparent drunk-driving crash in Austin, Texas that injured the woman’s husband and daughter.KVUE reported Guy Brasted, 41, was driving drunk and crossed the median of U.S. 183 on Saturday afternoon. (KGTV) - A San Bernardino County woman is suing the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and state Natural Resources Agency for not acknowledging the existence of Bigfoot.Claudia Ackley told The Press-Enterprise she ran into the long-fabled creature while hiking in Lake Arrowhead last year. Ackely said she was hiking late one March day when she and her two daughters ran into a Sasquatch."I ran into a Sasquatch – a Bigfoot. We were face to face. He was 30 feet up in the tree," Akley told the paper. "He looked like a Neanderthal man with hair all over him. He had solid black eyes. He had no expression on his face at all. He did not show his teeth. He just stared at the three of us."Ackley said her daughter told her she saw two other creatures run away following the encounter, adding that her daughter captured the encounter on video - which Press-Enterprise published online."People have to be warned about these things. They are big," Ackley said. (KGTV) - A San Diego County psychiatrist who reportedly had offices in Chula Vista, San Ysidro, Kearny Mesa and El Cajon was in custody Thursday on suspicion of sexual battery and having sex with a patient.Leon Fajerman, 75, was charged with five counts in an arrest warrant issued Wednesday.Among the charges was a violation of Business and Professions Code 729(a), which details that any physician, psychiatrist or counselor who has sexual relations with a patient or terminates a relationship with a patient for the purpose of having sexual contact is guilty of sexual exploitation.In September 2017, court records showed that Fajerman assaulted three female patients, including one who said he groped her breasts and buttocks, according to the Union-Tribune.The complaints were turned in to the Medical Board of California. Fajerman surrendered his medical license May 15, 2018.Fajerman received his medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires and had been in practice for more than 20 years, according to US News. 1033

(CNN) -- President Trump is giving most federal workers the gift of an extra day off this holiday season.The president issued an executive order Tuesday ordering that all executive departments and federal agencies close on Tuesday, December 24 in honor of Christmas Eve.The holidays for federal employees include Christmas Day, but not Christmas Eve.Certain employees, or "emergency employees," will have to work that day "for reasons of national security, defense, or other public need."News of an extra day off comes after Congress recently approved 12 weeks of paid parental leave for all federal employees for the first time in American history.
