Amid yet another scandal, Facebook is facing calls from investors and critics to shake up its leadership.But in an exclusive interview on Tuesday, CEO Mark Zuckerberg said he intends to stay on as chairman and that his No. 2, Sheryl Sandberg, isn't going anywhere either."Sheryl is a really important part of this company and is leading a lot of the efforts to address a lot of the biggest issues that we have," Zuckerberg told CNN Business' Laurie Segall. "She's been an important partner for me for 10 years. ... I hope that we work together for decades more to come."Asked if he would step down from the chairman role, Zuckerberg said, "that's not the plan."Last week, a New York Times report claimed the company had been not been transparent enough about Russian interference during the 2016 US election on its platform. The report also said Facebook hired a PR firm called Definers Public Affairs to dig up dirt on its competitors. The group also reportedly encouraged reporters to examine the links between liberal billionaire George Soros and activists protesting against Facebook.Zuckerberg also defended his C-suite and said he made substantive changes to the broader organization throughout the year."If you look at the management team at the end of 2018, it's quite different from what it was at the beginning of the year," he said. "On the product and engineering side, we completely restructured things."In May, Facebook underwent a major leadership shake up, and shuffled the executives in charge of its most popular apps, such as WhatsApp and Messenger. Antwone Berry was found shot and killed in January in Milwaukee, two weeks after he went missing.Milwaukee police say 34-year-old Skylard Grant is accused of killing Berry. According to police and family members, the two were close friends around each other a lot. That's why this killing is senseless to them.“It's just ridiculous, to come to find out that someone that's very close to you and be the one to hurt you," said Tashe Lee, Berry’s cousin."He didn't deserve that, you know that was the wrong thing," said Steve Lee, another cousin.Berry went missing on Christmas Eve, for two weeks his family searched all over for him in the cold.He was found shot to death two weeks later on Jan. 7 in a wooded area in Milwaukee.According to the criminal complaint, witnesses say Grant was drunk and began arguing with Berry about not sending him money when he was previously in jail.Grant allegedly shot and killed Berry with his own gun. Grant tried to then sell Berry's gun to another friend, who declined and asked of Berry's whereabouts. Court documents show that's when Grant said."....you ain't gonna be seeing him no more, I had to take care of him," he allegedly said. "That wasn't fair to him it wasn't fair to us for somebody to be getting taken away from us," Tasha Lee said.  "Just hoping for the best, hope that he gets life, that’s what I want for him to have life, he took my cousin's life, he deserve to have life."Grant was actually arrested for this case on Jan. 4. Investigators analyzed phone records placing grant near the area where berry's body was found. Surveillance video also showed Grant's SUV near the scene the day Berry went missing.Homicide numbers from Milwaukee Police for this year indicate that of 32 homicide cases so far in Milwaukee this year, 14 remain open. 1834

An incident that began as an argument over masks led to an officer-involved shooting near Lansing, Michigan on Tuesday.A 43-year-old man from Grand Ledge was shot and killed by a police officer after a fight at a Quality Dairy store in Dimondale.Authorities say a 77-year-old man from Lansing who was wearing a mask and the 43-year-old man who wasn't wearing a mask got into an altercation.The unmasked man reportedly stabbed the masked man and fled the area. A deputy later spotted the vehicle and pulled him over.Once the man pulled over his car, police say he approached the deputy with two knives and a screwdriver.Authorities say the assailant continued to approach the deputy as she backed up, and she fired her weapon, fatally shooting the assailant.The deputy was not physically harmed and is on administrative leave.The case has been turned over to Michigan State Police.The 77-year-old man who was stabbed is reportedly stable.This story was originally published by WXYZ in Detroit. 1000
