Swedish clothing company H&M is planning to close 250 stores next year.On Thursday, CEO Helena Helmersson said in a press release that the coronavirus pandemic had played a role in the retail chain's decision since more shoppers were buying online."More and more customers started shopping online during the pandemic, and they are making it clear that they value a convenient and inspiring experience in which stores and online interact and strengthen each other," Helmersson said.Helmersson added that sales declined 5% in September compared to the same time last year."Although the challenges are far from over, we believe that the worst is behind us and we are well placed to come out of the crisis stronger," Helmersson said.H&M has 5,000 stores worldwide. The American Hockey League is targeting a Feb. 5 start date for next season. The AHL's board of governors determined that projected start date during a call Wednesday. The AHL is the top minor league affiliate of the NHL, which is targeting a Jan. 1 start for the season. A typical AHL season usually starts after the NHL gets underway. NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly says he doesn't expect the AHL announcement to affect the NHL's planning. TAMPA, Fla. — Commuters at Tampa International were hit with a serious dose of puppy love on Friday afternoon.The pup-arazzi was on hand to capture the moment a service dog went into labor while waiting for a flight at Tampa International Airport. Elli, short for Eleanor Rigby, is a two-year-old Labrador Retriever and service dog. She was waiting to fly to Philadelphia with her owner Diane Vanatter when she went into labor.  Tampa Fire Rescue was on hand to help deliver the puppies.   532
