(KGTV) - Naval Criminal Investigative Services announced Friday the arrests of two additional Marines and a sailor, bringing the total of troops suspected of human smuggling and drug-related offenses to 19. Sixteen of the service members were taken into custody Thursday at Camp Pendleton during Battalion formation, a gathering of some 800 troops, U.S. Marine Corps officials said. An additional eight troops were questioned about drug offenses unrelated to the arrests, said Maj. Kendra Motz, 1st Marine Division Communication Strategy Operations Director. Two of the detainees were later arrested, said officials.“The Commanding Officer of 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment will act within his authority to hold the Marines accountable at the appropriate level, should they be charged,” said Motz. Both men are charged with smuggling “for the purpose of commercial advantage or private financial gain,” the complaint said. Agents said three undocumented immigrants got into the Marines’ vehicle on Interstate 8, according to the complaint. (KGTV) — Virgin Galactic Thursday revealed a look at plans for the world's first-ever commercial spaceport in New Mexico.The look at the "Gateway to Space" building at Spaceport America included the center's mission control, pilots' working area, briefing center, and shared lounge center for customers and staff.The first floor of Gateway to Space serves as the social hub, dining, and lounge area of the center between guests and staff. A 14-year-old boy is in custody on suspicion of shooting a teen in the arm at a Southern California high school Friday morning, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.The shooting happened at or near Highland High School in Palmdale around 7 a.m. PT, even as some students still were arriving at school, sheriff's Capt. Darren Harris said.The names of neither the suspect nor the wounded teen, also 14, were immediately released. A 12-year old Brooklyn girl is uplifting audiences and making history as one of the youngest composers for the New York Philharmonic.Grace Moore is a seventh-grade student at Poly Prep in Dyker Heights. She’s also soaring to new heights with her passion for classical music.Moore describes herself as quiet and shy, but when it comes to her music, she is powerful. In October, Moore had a world premiere of a piece she created for the NY Philharmonic. It was the music she composed.Moore is a participant of the New York Philharmonic’s Very Young Composers program— a program that teaches people as young as eight to create music, they have the some of best musicians in the world perform it.Moore’s talent is extraordinary.Her love of music started at the age of two when her mom bought her a piano.
