MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – All four police officers involved in the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis are now facing charges. Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison announced Wednesday afternoon that former officer Derek Chauvin’s murder charge has been upgraded from third-degree to second-degree. He’s also being charged with second-degree manslaughter.Ellison also announced that former officers Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane are being charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder for their role in Floyd's death. Watch Ellison discuss the additional charges below: Ellison took the lead on the case last week and will work alongside Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman as they seek justice for Floyd’s killing. Wednesday, Ellison said additional evidence in the case allowed prosecutors to enhance the murder charge against Chauvin.The attorney general said that getting a conviction against the former officers will be a challenge. He added that Freeman is the only prosecutor in the state who has won a murder conviction case against an officer.Floyd died in police custody on Memorial Day. Bystander video shows one police officer, Chauvin, kneeling on Floyd's neck for more than eight minutes. Additional video shows that officers Keung and Lane also put their body weight on Floyd during the arrest. Officer Thao stood by with his back turned during the arrest. Prosecutors have charged a 17-year-old from Illinois in the fatal shooting of two protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and the wounding of a third. Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley filed the charges against Kyle Rittenhouse Thursday afternoon. The charges include one count of first-degree intentional homicide; one count of first-degree reckless homicide; one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide; two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment. All those charges are felonies. He could face a mandatory life sentence if convicted of first-degree intentional homicide, the most serious crime in Wisconsin. A toddler was found in a cage during an animal rescue operation in Henry County.Henry County, Tennessee, Sheriff’s deputies raided a home with several outbuildings in the northern portion of the county Thursday.The child, who is under the age of two, was found in a cage in the same room as several large constricting snakes next to a box of live mice. The child was filthy, but unharmed and is now in DCS custody. A source said the reptiles could have easily killed the toddler.Deputies found several large marijuana plants and the group rescued more than 100 animals from the home.District attorney Matt Stowe says the child's parents and a grandparent were taken into custody. From social media posts deemed so misleading that they were deleted, to a staged re-entry to the White House, to overly-positive assessments of the deadly disease, the president has spent Monday and Tuesday making waves.A biographical analyst attributed some of the president's brashness to a way of thinking in which he's been steeped from a young age.Tuesday afternoon began with Dr. Sean Conley, President Trump's personal physician, issuing a memorandum that said, in part, "He reports no symptoms," and "He continues to do extremely well."The memo came out after the president's medical team met with him on Monday morning. Also on Monday morning, Mr. Trump was active on social media.As is typical when he's not tasked with fighting a deadly disease in his bloodstream, the president's posts sparked strong reactions.Specifically, the social media outlets on which he posted responded with rebuke.Facebook deleted a post that Trump made, because it contained false information about COVID-19 and flu. Meanwhile, Twitter chose to allow the same post from him, made in a tweet, obviously. However, Twitter added a disclaimer that what the president had written had "violated Twitter Rules about spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19."The president's tweet said that "Many people every year, sometimes over 100,000, and despite the Vaccine, die from the Flu." It went on to say, "we have learned to live with it, just like we are learning to live with Covid, in most populations far less lethal!!!"However, Trump's own Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has said that, over the last decade, an average of 36,500 Americans have died from the flu. That's in contrast to more than 210,400 who've lost their lives to COVID.The social media posts followed Pres.
