President Donald Trump is asking chief of staff John Kelly for help in pushing his daughter and son-in-law out of the White House, The New York Times reports.The Times, citing two people familiar with Trump's views, said Trump has been frustrated with his son-in-law Kushner after his top secret security clearance was downgraded this week and a report came out that officials from four countries had discussed ways to manipulate him during their dealings on foreign policy.But Trump has told Kushner, who is a senior adviser, and his daughter Ivanka that they should remain in their roles, the Times reported.Trump has vented at times that the couple should have never come to the White House and should leave, White House aides told the newspaper.CNN has not independently confirmed the Times' report. (KGTV) - The Poway Unified School District Board of the Education unanimously passed an anti-racism resolution at their virtual meeting Thursday.“In this resolution, the Poway Unified School District makes a commitment to really looking at diverse curriculum, and representing diverse points of view, as well as committing to hiring diverse staff,” PUSD Chief Communications Officer Christine Paik said.“(The district) will also look at anti-racist and anti-bias training. We want to expand it to all of our staff members and students,” Paik added.The resolution comes after an Instagram page called “Black in PUSD” was recently created. President Donald Trump has pulled most of his advertising from TV over the past week, ceding the airwaves to Democratic rival Joe Biden, who is currently outspending him by more than 10-to-1. That's according to data from the ad tracking firm CMAG/Kantar. It is unusual for a White House contender to mostly go dark on TV with the election just over two months away. The move comes after the Trump campaign recently acknowledged it was trying to conserve money. That's allowed Biden an opportunity to communicate an unfiltered message to voters without competing advertising. (KGTV) -- A local business and organization are coming together to take steps toward better protecting Alzheimer patients by providing free gun locks.Alzheimer’s San Diego and Poway Weapons and Gear have started the first of its kind program regarding what to do when it’s time to lock up your guns.Eugenia Welch is the President of Alzheimer’s San Diego and spoke to 10News. "As we were working further through this program, there was an incident locally, a gentleman shot his daughter because he didn’t recognize her as a daughter he thought she was an intruder. Luckily she’s fine but that could have been a really bad situation," she said. When families are helping their loved ones who have been diagnosed, they often forget about the guns in the home and how dangerous they could be. "If someone is retired military or retired police officer, they’ve probably had guns in their home their whole life and didn’t even think about it” Welch says.This program gives free gun locks to families. It started over the summer and so far they have given out 100 locks.Poway Weapons and Gear has donated 500 locks and tells 10News they will continue to donate as need grows.The program hits close to home for the business because the owner’s grandmother was also diagnosed with the disease.With the locks on guns they become completely unusable, preventing the cylinder from going back in with the rounds to allow the gun to be fired.While the ideal situation is for the guns to be completely removed, the organization says this is the next best option. 1610
