DEERFIELD, Ill. – Walgreens says it’s partnering with a primary care company to open full-service doctor's offices at hundreds of its drugstores.The pharmacy chain announced Wednesday that an expanded partnership with VillageMD will allow them to open 500 to 700 “Village Medical at Walgreens” primary care clinics in more than 30 markets in the next five years. They intend to build hundreds more after that.Most of the clinics will be approximately 3,300 square feet each, with some as large as 9,000 square feet. Walgreens says they will optimize existing space in stores, which will also still provide a range of retail products to customers.Walgreens says the clinics will integrate the pharmacist as a critical member of VillageMD’s multi-disciplinary team to deliver quality health care to patients. DENVER, Colorado — Authorities say one person is dead and four others have been wounded in a shooting in broad daylight in downtown Denver.It happened around 4 p.m. local time Monday near the busy intersection of 21st and Lawrence streets. A suspect or suspects remain at large. Police say the four wounded in the shooting were transported to Denver Health in stable condition. The fatal victim, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced at the scene. DENVER, Colo. — It's been a long time coming for former Denver officer Daril Cinquanta, but persistence paid off.“I’ve been tracking this guy for 46 years,” Cinquanta said of fugitive Luis Archuleta.Their lives crossed paths almost 50 years ago in Denver, when Cinquanta was a rookie officer for the Denver Police Department. Cinquanta pulled Archueleta over for an ID check. When Cinquanta went to check for weapons, the two began fighting and Archuleta shot Cinquanta. Archuleta got away.“I took it personally, I won’t deny. So what better thing to do than chase him?” Cinquanta said.Eventually, Archuleta was arrested and convicted but escaped prison. Forty-six years later, Archuleta was still on the run and Cinquanta continued to chase him until earlier this summer, when Cinquanta got a tip.“On June 24, I get a phone call. This person says, ‘You know, I’ve been thinking about it, I’m going to tell you where your guy is who shot you.’ Out of the blue,” Cinquanta said.Archuleta was arrested earlier this week. DEL MAR, Calif. (KGTV) — A North County photographer captured five great white sharks swimming about 50 yards off the coast of Del Mar on Thursday.Jedd Wasson, of Del Mar, said he was on the lookout for the sharks as he flew his drone in the area. To his surprise, he not only spotted one, but in total, five juvenile great white sharks calmly gliding through the waters just offshore."So I was actually purposely finding them because I'd been hearing reports of them in Del Mar around 11th Street," Wasson told ABC 10News reporter Steve Smith. "I was surprised at how many there were. I was expecting just a couple but sometimes I would just follow it on the screen and then another one would appear in the frame. I'm like, 'Oh wow, there is quite a lot of sharks here.'"The sharks appeared to be about 8-feet long, Wasson said."I've seen one myself while I was paddleboarding so I can approximate the size, but usually the juveniles tend to come in closer to shore which is what I saw from the drone," Wasson said.Expert Ralph Collier, of the Shark Research Institute, confirmed the sharks appeared to be juvenile great white sharks. Collier added that, before swimmers get too worried, the clarity in the water should help the sharks better distinguish between person or prey. But swimmers should still be cautious."The one I saw was just cruising along the reef then it darted away, so I'm not concerned it's out to get me. I mean, it's their home, we're just in it so I wouldn't worry too much about them but you can always be cautious," Wasson said.While Wasson says he contacted Del Mar Lifeguards about the sightings, lifeguards said there were no posted warnings Friday. 1687
