A man set himself on fire near the White House at around noon Wednesday, the U.S. Secret Service said.The man, who has not been identified, set himself on fire in front of sightseers at the Ellipse, a 52-acre park located south of the White House fence and north of the National Mall.The man was transported to a local hospital. A 16-year-old Guatemalan boy died in government custody Monday morning, Customs and Border Protection said.The boy was apprehended and processed near Hidalgo, Texas, on May 13 before being transferred to the Weslaco Border Patrol Station Sunday, the agency said in a statement. He was found unresponsive Monday morning. The cause of death is unknown, the agency said."The men and women of US Customs and Border Protection are saddened by the tragic loss of this young man and our condolences are with his family," said Acting Commissioner John Sanders in a statement.
