In areas that see a hard freeze, leaving the faucet dripping overnight is one way to keep the pipes from freezing.Always remember to bring pets indoors. ALPINE, Calif. (KGTV) — Homicide detectives were investigating after a woman was shot and killed in a quiet Alpine neighborhood on Saturday.Around 2 p.m., a resident heard a scream and called 911.San Diego Sheriff's deputies found a woman's body lying halfway out of the passenger seat of a car in front of a neighbor’s driveway in the 3000 block of North Victoria Drive.Deputies detained a man on foot about a half mile away with two hand guns, said Lt. Rich Williams, San Diego County Sheriff's Homicide Unit."The suspect in this case has been identified as forty-two-year-old Paul Paraschak of Alpine," said Williams.Paraschak has been arrested for one count of murder and booked into the San Diego Central Jail, where he is being held without bail. AGOURA, California — The movie set ranch featured in the HBO television series “Westworld” and almost 500 other productions was destroyed in the Woolsey Fire, Santa Monica Mountains park rangers tweeted Friday.The piece of Hollywood history, known as “Western Town” at Paramount Ranch, was located in Agoura. With its rolling hills and canyons, it was used to create an Old West look for film and television shoots.Paramount Studios bought the 2,700 acre ranch in the golden era of Hollywood. After former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s stay in the hospital, Christie told the New York Times on Thursday he was “wrong” not to wear a mask inside the White House before becoming infected with the coronavirus.Christie, President Donald Trump, and a number of others who had contact with Trump and his staff, tested positive for the coronavirus several weeks ago. Christie spent nearly a week in the hospital, and he told the New York Times he was in the intensive care unit.Christie, who has since been released from the hospital and is recovering, expressed regret for his actions inside of the White House. Christie was among a group of GOP advisers helping Trump with preparing for the Sept. 30 debate.“I believed when I entered the White House grounds, that I had entered a safe zone, due to the testing that I and many others underwent every day,” Christie said in the statement to the New York Times. “I was wrong.
