Hershey's chocolate is about to get more expensive.The candy company is planning to raise the prices of a fifth of its products by about 2.5%, Hershey reiterated on Thursday. The changes will go into effect next year.One of many companies getting squeezed by rising commodity and shipping costs, Hershey hopes higher prices will offset those costs without scaring away customers.Hershey (HSY) first said that it would raise prices over the summer, citing rising operational costs. Pet owners around the country are starting to get the answers, with help from a device teaching animals how to talk."I really wanted a smart dog because I was pretty invested in the training process," said Alexis Devine, from Tacoma, Washington.Devine knew early on she wanted to test the boundaries of communication with her Sheepadoodle, Bunny. She was inspired by speech pathologist Christina Hunger, who went viral for teaching her dog how to talk with an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) system. These devices are typically used in speech therapy to help non-verbal people to communicate. "I thought when we get our puppy, I have to try this out, and I bought the buttons long before we got Bunny," said Devine. Devine started small, purchasing a few sound buttons from Amazon. "Outside" was Bunny's first word. Devine pressed it every time they left the house, and soon enough, Bunny was pushing it on her own to go outside."She uses 'park' and 'beach' constantly, 'outside' quite a bit. She uses 'walk' a lot, 'ball', 'tug', and 'hippo' are really popular. 'Love you, mom,' are really popular," Devine said. Now, with over 40 buttons, Bunny is starting to form sentences."One of her longest sentences to date was, 'Home. Concerned. Soon poop, yes,' which felt very much like a toddler," Devine explained. "Like, 'I have to poop right now. We're in the house. I don't want to be.'" GRANT COUNTY, Ind. -- Two people are dead after two small planes crashed at an airport in Grant County Monday evening in Central Indiana.The crash happened around 5 p.m. at the Marion Municipal Airport off in Marion. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, a single-engine Cessna 150 collided on the ground with a Cessna 525 CitationJet. Preliminary investigation indicates that the Cessna 150 was attempting to take off at 5:09 p.m. when it struck the tail of the Citation, which had just landed. "The airport in Marion does not have an air traffic control tower," the FAA said in a statement. "Pilots using the field are expected to announce their intentions on a common radio frequency and to coordinate with one another while on the ground and in the traffic pattern."The Cessna 150 was carrying two people and the Citation had five passengers on board. Grant County Coroner Chris Butche says two people were killed in the crash."FAA investigators are on their way to the scene, and the National Transportation Safety Board has been notified," the FAA said in a statement to RTV6. HAWTHORNE (CNS) - A planned launch Saturday by Hawthorne-based SpaceX to deploy 57 internet satellites into orbit has been postponed for a third time to "allow more time for checkouts," the company tweeted.No new launch date was announced, but SpaceX officials said their launch team was working to identify the next earliest launch opportunity.The 10th Starlink mission, part of an effort to provide low-cost internet access, was originally scheduled for June 26 from Cape Canaveral in Florida but was scrubbed at the last minute to allow for more pre-flight equipment checks. SpaceX tried again Wednesday morning, but that launch had to be canceled due to bad weather.Saturday's launch had been set for 7:54 a.m. California time.When it eventually lifts off, the Falcon 9 rocket will carry 57 Starlink internet satellites as part of SpaceX's planned array to provide worldwide low-cost internet access, particularly in underserved areas.This 10th launch will increase the Starlink array to nearly 600 satellites in orbit. It's unclear exactly how many satellites will ultimately be included in the constellation. SpaceX founder Elon Musk has said previously that the service could begin operating when it reaches 1,000 satellites, and the company has already begun soliciting people to be "beta" testers.
