Carlton wants his dance back.Actor Alfonso Ribeiro is suing to stop two video game developers from selling a dance popularized by his "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" character.In two lawsuits filed Monday, Ribeiro said the companies have "unfairly profited" from using his likeness and from exploiting his "protected creative expression." The suits name Fortnite developer Epic Games Inc., and Take-Two Interactive Software Inc., creator of the NBA 2K series, and several of its subsidiaries.Epic Games declined to comment on the lawsuit. Take-Two subsidiary 2K Games did not respond to a request for comment.The lawsuits ask a California federal court to bar the game developers from using, selling or displaying the dance. The suits state that Ribeiro is in the process of copyrighting the dance.Ribeiro, best known as Carlton Banks from the 1990s "Fresh Prince" sitcom, says in the court filings that he is "inextricably linked" to the dance -- a joyous, arm-swinging boogie often performed to Tom Jones' "It's Not Unusual."The lawsuits say Ribeiro first performed the dance during the show's 1991 Christmas episode."Twenty-seven years later, The Dance remains distinctive, immediately recognizable, and inextricably linked to Ribeiro's identity, celebrity, and likeness," the lawsuits say.Ribeiro also performed his signature move during his 2014 run on "Dancing with the Stars."He is currently the host of "America's Funniest Home Videos."According to the suit, Ribeiro says Epic is faking endorsements. He is asking the court for damages and that both companies stop profiting from the dance.The games are among the most popular video games in the world. Epic recently announced that 78.3 million users logged in to play Fortnite in August. The game sells what Ribeiro claims is his dance under the emote name "Fresh.""Epic intentionally induces others to perform these dances and mark them with those hashtags, which give attribution to and endorse Fortnite the game," the lawsuit states. "Epic has consistently sought to exploit African-American talent, in particular in Fortnite, by copying their dances and movements and sell them through emotes."Similarly, the lawsuit against Take-Two Interactive says the basketball game NBA 2K sold the game many refer to as the "Carlton dance" as an in-game purchase. Hecht says he and his firm are also representing rapper 2 Milly and Russell Horning, also known as the "Backpack Kid," in lawsuits against Epic Games over Fortnite's use of their signature dances within the game. DETROIT — Insulin is the difference between life and death for people with Type 1 diabetes. They say they are tired of watching the cost of the drug continue to increase in the United States. WXYZ went to Jillian Rippolone’s home as she met with diabetics. They spoke about their struggles getting the insulin they need. It's a struggle Rippolone first experienced when, as a child, her parents lost their health insurance. “We were turned away because we didn’t have the money at the time to afford our insulin, which is this little bottle right here," she said. "This was 0 in the '90s. I needed three of them.”Rippolone says she feared for her life as her parents worked to get the money needed. Now, she says the situation is worse for many patients because the cost of insulin has increased in the United States. “For my 30 day supply, it is ,020,” Rippolone said. Michele Busticker, a woman meeting with other diabetics at Rippolone’s home, said she thought she was covered because she had health insurance. Then she dropped a vile on the floor. Insurance wouldn't cover a replacement.“I had to actually admit myself to the emergency room to get insulin to survive,” Busticker said. Mike Cowan says he turned to Rippolone for help when an Uber passenger stole his medicine as he drove.“Insurance isn’t going to make up for that, so I had to seek it out on the black market,” Cowan said. The black market he turned to is a vast network of people who offer insulin online. Rippolone is a leader in it. “Because when there is a diabetic in need you get it. Entrepreneur Kevin O'Leary, who is best known for his appearance in the hit TV show "Shark Tank," was involved in a night time boating accident that left two people dead, his agent told CNN.The incident happened over the weekend in Ontario, Canada.O'Leary was a passenger in a boat when it collided with another, his agent Jay Sures said.Sures told CNN that O'Leary's wife, Linda, was driving at the time.The collision left a man in the second boat dead, said Joe Scali, spokesman for the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police. A woman in the second boat succumbed to her injuries Tuesday, police said. A passenger in O'Leary's boat was also injured.Police say three other boaters were injured, and were treated and released from a local hospital.No charges have been filed.Linda O'Leary was given a DUI test, which she passed, according to O'Leary's agent.Asked for comment, Sures directed CNN to a statement O'Leary provided to TMZ.It said, "Late Saturday night I was a passenger in a boat that had a tragic collision with another craft that had no navigation lights on and then fled the scene of the accident.
