A military jet went down at Lake Havasu Airport on Tuesday morning.According to the United States Air Force, an F-16C aircraft assigned to the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, Arizona diverted and attempted to land at the Lake Havasu Airport around 10:30 a.m. local time.Lake Havasu Fire said the pilot of the plane was able to eject and is expected to be okay. The incident occurred during a routine training exercise. It is unclear what type of plane was involved in the incident or where the pilot is based.Lake Havasu Airport is located about three and a half hours northwest of Phoenix near the state border with California. 668

A more than 4,000-year-old private tomb containing "exceptionally well-preserved" drawings has been discovered south of Cairo, according to Egypt's Ministry of Antiquities.Antiquities Minister Khaled al-Anani said the tomb had been discovered at the Saqqara archaeological site and was from the 5th dynasty of the pharaohs, which ruled roughly 4,400 years ago.The tomb belonged to a royal purification priest known as "Wahtye," al-Anani said in a statement. Inscriptions suggested the priest had served during the reign of King Nefer-Ir-Ka-Re and was the king's supervisor and inspector of the holy boat.Al-Anani said the tomb's walls were decorated with colored scenes depicting Wahtye with his mother, wife and family.The head of the excavation mission, Mostafa Waziri, said other drawings showed wine and pottery making, musical performances, sailing, hunting and the manufacture of funeral furniture.Waziri said his team had reached the tomb in November but that it had taken some time to enter as its doors were sealed.Some 50 niches inside the bomb also contained colored statues carved in rock, including of a person standing or in the scribe position, Waziri said."This statue might belong to the deceased or a member of his family," he said.The general director of the site, Sabry Farag, said the tomb was about 10 meters (33 feet) long and 3 meters (10 feet) wide, with a basement.It also contained five burial shafts, Waziri said, which will be the subject of further excavations.In November, the Antiquities Ministry announced that a mass cat cemetery and a collection of rare mummified scarab beetles were among seven tombs discovered at Saqqara.Saqqara is also home to the famous Step Pyramid. 1715

A trendy shampoo making all sorts of promises has proven to be a real head-scratcher for both consumers and state investigators.Monat is mostly sold person-to-person through multi-level marketing.In 2018, 13 Investigates first broke the story of allegations of balding and scalp sores by some of its users.Lather, rinse, repeat: Monat is once again under the microscope, this time signing a compliance agreement and issuing refunds."I started noticing my hair was just falling out in handfuls," said Pam Benson of Moore, OK. She says her problems started after using Monat hair care products."I had also tried this on my daughter and my granddaughter. I tried the children's version on my granddaughter and her hair was falling out and my daughter's hair fell out."Benson says before Monat, "My hair was so thick that I couldn't put a ponytail holder around it twice." And after... "my hair got so thin I could put it around four or five times."When she complained to the company, she says a Monat rep told her, "It was detox. And they said your hair has to detox and get rid of all the build-up that's on your hair."That's just one of the claims the multi-level marketer is no longer allowed to make. In August, Monat signed an "Assurance of Voluntary Compliance" to resolve an investigation by the Attorney General in Florida, where Monat is headquartered. The attorney general's office launched its investigation into Monat's claims and business practices after a 13 investigation in March of 2018. And I don't believe for one minute that they should be taking it as lightly as they obviously are."Varnell represents plaintiffs in a pending class-action lawsuit against Monat that includes cases consolidated from across the country."We do not believe, and I do not believe as (the consumers') lawyer, that they (Monat) were operating on a sound scientific basis for making the types of claims they were making. Varnell sees both as consumer victories."The single most important thing that any Attorney General's office can do is get injunctive relief that stops bad practices. "Let that come from us."13 Investigates discovered something that came from them after signing the agreement with the Florida attorney general: In screenshots posted about a new sunscreen, Monat market partners claim Monat's Sun Veil SPF 30 is "Approved by the Skin Cancer Foundation." A pharmacist was arrested for allegedly luring an Indiana woman to his Colorado home and then drugging and sexually assaulting her multiple times, according to a release from the Teller County Sheriff’s Office. And investigators believe there are more victims who have yet to come forward.Brent Stein, 46, was a pharmacist with Mountain Key Pharmacy in Florissant, Colorado, about 2 hours southwest of Denver. His pharmacy license was suspended this week as he was booked on three counts of sexual assault, but has since bonded out of the Teller County Detention Facility.The investigation into the allegations against Stein began on June 18, when Teller County detectives received information there was a sexual assault victim at a hospital in Colorado Springs, the sheriff’s office said.The victim told investigators that she had met Stein on a dating website and that the suspect had made promises to heal her medical conditions and that he was a pharmacist, the Teller County release read.The victim traveled from Indiana to Stein’s home, and during her stay, she claims she was given un-prescribed medication by Stein, which resulted in her being incapacitated. Investigators allege the victim was sexually assaulted multiple times by Stein while the victim was under the influence of the unknown medication.Upon further investigation, other victims have come forward to report unwanted sexual conduct by Stein, the sheriff’s office said. Detectives believe there might be other victims and are asking anyone who knows anything about this case or may be an additional victim to come forward.
