CINCINNATI -- Family members and friends said their final goodbyes to 16-year-old Kyle Plush at his funeral Monday.The teen died trapped inside his van at Seven Hills School last Tuesday, even after he pleaded with 911 operators to send help. Two Cincinnati police officers and a Hamilton County sheriff's deputy who searched near the school never found him. A Cincinnati City Council committee has a special meeting Tuesday afternoon to look into what happened.After Plush's death, the Cincinnati Police Department released a?computer-aided dispatch report,?Plush's calls and some dispatch traffic. It later released an internal review of the incident?after it was leaked to multiple news outlets.But the department has yet to explain exactly where its officers looked and what they did during their search for Plush. Nearly a week after the teen suffocated, numerous questions remain about what went wrong that day.The first 911 operatorStephane MaGee took the first 911 call from Plush. She couldn't communicate back and forth with him, because he said he could not hear her.MaGee indicated the caller was a female trapped in a van at the Seven Hills parking lot in "unknown trouble."Using latitude/longitude coordinates, she found Plush may be across the street from the school. She noted that location may be a thrift store parking lot in the dispatch report. Officers were dispatched to 5471 Red Bank Road, which is the parking lot across from the school where Plush was suffocating inside his Honda Odyssey. MaGee noted she used "Phase II" to find the location; "Phase II" is shorthand for a requirement, from the Federal Communications Commission, that wireless providers have to give 911 centers the latitude/longitude coordinates of cellphone calls.The latitude/longitude coordinates MaGee obtained were within feet of where Plush would be found dead later that night. Even though MaGee had almost the exact location of where Plush was found, a supervisor later wrote she should've used the school's name -- which would've sent officers to a less-exact location, at 5400 Red Bank.The officersRecords show Cincinnati Police Officers Edsel Osborn and Brian Brazile, riding double as Unit 2232, responded to the school to investigate Plush's first call. It's unclear if they ever came back on the radio to ask for clarification about the caller or vehicle.The officers noted they tried calling Plush back but didn't get an answer. Less than 11 minutes after arriving, they marked the assignment complete and were ready for a different assignment.Later that night, when Plush was found dead, another call went out for police to respond to Seven Hills School. Officers didn't yet know Plush was dead. Brazile and Osborn's unit, 2232, came on the radio to say they'd been there earlier in the day and found nothing."I think somebody's playing pranks. It was something about they were locked in a vehicle across from the school, we never found anything. But we'll respond and see what else we can find," one of them said in the radio transmission that night.That's what we know about the two Cincinnati police officers' actions. WCPO has requested numerous records, which have not yet been provided.Chief Eliot Isaac has not gone into detail about what the officers did at the school that afternoon. (KGTV) - Surveillance video shows a woman at the front door of a home in Chula Vista doing a face-plant to avoid police.Along Paseo Burga, Lillie Utz got an unexpected visitor outside her front door as she was sewing Christmas presents on Saturday afternoon.Through a window, Utz saw a woman racing back and forth in her front yard. Turns out neighbors had seen the same woman running in and out of yards. At least one of them had called police. Soon after, video shows a woman at Utz's front door. I was about six feet away sewing," said Utz. In the video, the woman can't get in, so she kneels and hides. CHICAGO, Illinois — People are caught on camera an average of 75 times a day.But there is now some new technology hitting the market that can hide a person's face from some of those."Baby Driver" is the latest Hollywood movie to use crazy fashionable technology to commit crimes like robbing banks. The truth is they may not be that far off. Scott Urban, the creator of Reflectacles, says his product helps bounce light back directly to where it came from.“One of my past clients came up to me and asked me to make him a pair of reflective glasses," Urban said.The glasses don't make a person invisible, but can throw off security cameras. One of his biggest concerns is privacy.“You know if you have this concept that you're being filmed and recorded and listened to everywhere you go, you might limit your own personal freedoms," he said.The glasses reflect light into the camera creating a blown out glow.Our reporter found the glasses work really well when it's dark, but in broad sunlight, not so much.Scott's gear got him in a bit of trouble at the neighborhood bar he goes to often. They asked him to take off his glasses. Katrina Arthur, the manager and fourth generation's family owner of Archie's Iowa & Rockwell Tavern, said, “We want to be sure if anything were to happen and go back and look at our security tapes and be able to identify anybody who may have caused an incident."Our reporters also found reflective glasses aren't the only option out there. The ISHU cloak is made by entrepreneur Saif Siddiqui, who feels strongly about privacy as well.“It's just the option of going invisible," Siddiqui said.He sells anti-paparazzi gear. Siddiqui's clothing does nearly the same thing as the glasses — gives back some privacy.“I find it important to give people the option to not be seen," he said.But these option may be short-lived. Security companies are taking notice of this new technology and working to stay ahead of it.“There are ways to make cameras that can see everybody's face, and I suppose it can be a cat and mouse game or I invest in better and better technology to hide my face."Keith Jentoft, is a video surveillance expert with more than 20 years in the business. He believes this type of tech actually does the opposite of what's intended because it sticks out."You're going to be calling yourself out and calling attention to yourself. If you're spending a lot of money to be private, people want to know why," Jentoft said.Scott Urban knows his gear isn't for everyone but says there's something bigger to consider.“Is it ok for you to tell me that my face must be recorded and analyzed everywhere I go?" (KGTV) -- Chula Vista native Sally Chand always knew what she wanted to do in life: follow in her family's tradition and join the military.Chand's father, her uncles and all of her brothers were all Marines. Her grandfather served in the Army. Chand eventually joined the Marines as well. Her son followed in her footsteps. After graduating from Castle Park High School, Chand served in the Marines for 22 years. Chand made history as the first female and Hispanic war interrogator translator in Chinese Mandarin. The global pandemic won’t stop them from tracking Santa Claus’ progress as he delivers gifts around the globe on Christmas Eve.The North American Aerospace Defense Command has announced that NORAD will track Santa on Dec. 24, just as it has done for 65 years. But there will be some changes: Not every child will be able to get through to a volunteer at NORAD’s call center to check on Santa’s whereabouts, as they have in years before.Normally, 150-160 volunteers crowd into a conference room at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, taking two-hour shifts to answer the phones as eager children call to see if Santa and his sleigh have reached their rooftops. All together, 1,500 people over 20 hours have participated in the call center in the past, fielding more than 130,000 phone calls, beginning at 6 a.m. Eastern time on Christmas Eve.This year, due to safety restrictions forced by the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of volunteers has been drastically cut to what NORAD expects will be fewer than 10 people per shift.“We understand this is a time-honored tradition, and we know undoubtedly there is going to be some disappointment,” said NORAD spokesman Preston Schlachter. “But we’re trying to keep it safe for everyone involved.”So, some callers may be able to once again get through to a member of the military or other volunteer when they dial the NORAD Tracks Santa toll-free number, 1-877-Hi-NORAD. But others will get a recorded update on Santa’s current location.Schlachter said NORAD will largely be limiting volunteers to people who already work there and their immediate families. But that could be expanded a bit as the time gets closer. He said that this year volunteers will answer health questions and have their temperature checked when they arrive, and a cleaning crew will wipe down surfaces throughout the day. There will be wipes and other supplies available, and between shifts the entire calling area will be sanitized before the next group comes in.Faced with concerns about the virus, officials at NORAD have worked for weeks to figure out a way to ensure that the much-beloved tradition could go on.The military command has been fielding calls since 1955, when Air Force Col.
