IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. (KGTV) — The man whose body was discovered floating off-shore in the South Bay this week has been identified.Zabiullah Rahmani, 29, was found after he entered the water near an Imperial Beach lifeguard tower during the early morning hours of Aug. 4. Officials said Rahmani was at the beach with a friend when he entered the water. The friend lost sight of him and a short time later, his body was found by joggers in the 700 block of Seacoast Drive.Paramedics pronounced Rahmani dead at the scene.At the time of discovery, the San Diego Sheriff's Department said drugs or alcohol may have played a role in Rahmani's death, but the Medical Examiner report didn't immediately offer a cause of death. 728

She wasn’t aware police in cities across the country are warning of a scam circulating, costing some thousands of dollars.It works like this: someone asks to use your smartphone, says their battery died or they left theirs at home, they use your payment app and steal your funds without you even knowing.Joseph Martinez, an information system security professor at Milwaukee Area Technical College, says when you’re not using them, log out of the money apps and while you’re at it, get off of Bluetooth.“They can hack into the phone via the Bluetooth portal and then through that portal have access to any application that you have your password and credentials automatically stored,” said Martinez.He also suggests linking your credit card instead of a debit card, so you have more protection. Burmeister is taking notes, considering her cell, like so many others, is a digital wallet. In a security policy that has been implemented in many stadiums and arenas around the country, large bags will soon be banned inside Cinemark's movie theaters, the company has announced. The ban will go into effect on Thursday at all of its theaters. Cinemark is the parent company of chains such as Rave Motion Pictures, Century Theatres, CineArts and Tinseltown. Bags larger than 12 inches by 12 inches by 6 inches will not be permitted. Exceptions may be made for medical equipment and diaper bags. Cinemark said there will not be anywhere to check bags. The chain also said that the company reserves the right to inspect all bags entering its theaters. A Century Theatre, which is owned by Cinemark, was the scene of a mass shooting in July 2012, when 12 were killed and 58 were wounded by a gunman. Survivors and families of the victims sued Cinemark claiming the company did not take adequate safety and security precaution.
