BRUSSELS, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- China welcomes Britain to seize the opportunity arising from its further opening-up and bring the mutually beneficial cooperation to a new height, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said on Friday.
The CICA was established in 1992 as a forum for dialogue and consultation on security issues in Asia. Among its 26 member countries are China, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Russia and Thailand. It also includes other countries and international organizations as observers.
Mo Yan, the winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature 2012 for his novel entitled "Red Sorghum," will hold a conference before being honored at the official ceremony, the statement said.
Pierre-Yves Jeholet, vice-president of Belgium's Walloon government and minister of economy, hailed the Chinese premier's visit as an important one which strengthens both diplomatic relations and trade.
"We have high regards of the efforts the DPRK has made towards regional peace and stability," said Li, adding that he hopes the DPRK and the United Sates could implement the outcomes of their summit, work jointly to preserve the general trend of peaceful talks.
